Also, GoFas Racing seems to be looking like they will return next year in 2024, because on Keenparts official account for their late model program, it showed a render of a Next Gen GoFas Racing car with the NASCAR Cup Series logo on it, and they’ve seemed to swap from Ford to Chevrolet.

@@EricEstepp maybe they’re trying to make it a surprise, and pipe it down so most people would still be surprised by it. But like you said, it could still be very interesting to watch!
Interesting that Ty’s returning to the Trucks for Rackley-War. He did finish runner-up to Crafton in 2013, and has won multiple races there in the past. Even though the Truck Series is basically a shell of its former self now, especially after that disastrous finale race this year, I’m still curious as to how this will go for him.
I think it would serve Ty well to stick with the trucks for a bit. Maybe spend two ot three years with a crew chief and build chemistry. Then move up to Xfinity and run there for until he has back to back years with a playoff berth AND at least one win.
If he does that and then moves up no one will be able to say he moved up because of family ties. Who knows, maybe this reset can help him be better than Austin.
I had this very same reaction. I do not consider Todd, Dillon a cup series, caliber driver, not even sure he’s Xfinity series caliber, but trucks that’s about his talent level and quite honestly his brother Austin is not much better.
Dale Earnhardt Sr. won 6 of his 7 Cup championships from age 34 onward. All 4 times Martin Truex finished 1st or 2nd in the final Cup standings, occurred when he was 37 or older. Almost all of Dale Jarrett’s Cup success occurred in his 30’s and 40’s, and Harry Gant’s Cup success was just getting started at 40! Point being, sometimes, taking a guy who has paid his dues in lower series or weak rides in his 20’s and early 30’s (like Josh Berry) and giving them a shot at the big time in their 30’s, can pan out into a legendary career. Austin Hill is another one that is about to enter his 30’s still seeking a big time Cup ride, but I think he could EASILY win multiple Cup championships in his 30’s. If I was a Cup owner deciding on a new driver, I’m picking the most talented available driver under the age of 35. NASCAR isn’t gymnastics. A guy can peak deep into his 30’s or even in his 40’s.
Ty Dillon is pure proof that without granddaddy Richard, Austin would not be in the cup series. They are similar talents in my opinion and both belong in Xfinity. Props to Ty for at the very least, trying to make it on his own steam.

I saw Keenparts replied to someone saying they are NOT going to Cup, but could still be something to watch!

@@EricEsteppI agree
I hope so. They had potential to be a FRM-level team on the road to a SHR/RFK alliance
Ty Dillon honestly could do decently in that ride as he has a decent history in trucks. I would not be shocked if he got at least one win next season
I think he could be a Johny Sauter or Justin Allgier in trucks or xfinity depending on what his future hold
@@mccannmotorsports3858 hopefully he can find his footing
Ok
The only reason Ty Dillon was relevant in trucks was because he had a cup team preparing his Trucks. He has 0 wins in 10 years. #MID
I think this could be Ty Dillon’s best opportunity he’s had in a while. If he could get at least a win or two it would be a great season.
Ty hasn’t won in NASCAR since 2014 so that would be huge!
If Ty doesn’t do what Matt did in that truck I would think it’s a failure of a season

the thing is it’s more competitive now, just a lot more recklessness too
We should be happy for the Truck Series that respectful drivers want to race in the truck series.
The mighty Eric posts again! As a student on break, these are the primetime videos in my YouTube feed

Ty could be the next Crafton or Allgaier (series depending). He’s good enough for a Nascar ride. Just not Cup imo.
I hope it does work out for him in trucks
Ty Dillon and Crafton in the same sentence is criminal
@@davicee. Matt Crafton has 3 championships in the Truck Series.
Ty Dillon was runner-up to Matt Crafton (#88) in 2013
We really need a new die cast race. The last one with Kurt Busch was thrilling! Lol
I’m not sure I would call Ty Dillion a “cup series caliber” driver

I’m happy that Ty finally has a ride for 2024!
Edit: I said ‘Tide’ instead of ‘Ride’.
I like your shirt Eric!! Hopefully Ty can have a brilliant season in Trucks this next season.

Jonathon Taylor here. Ty Dillon is a awesome driver and he is really good I’m glad that he is back in the truck series.
