The lineup is actually pretty good
Briscoe is a solid talent
Berry is a solid talent
Preece is a solid talent
Gragson okay is mid
But overall it is a solid lineup

Former Ranier Lundy partner JT Lundy, who Cale Yarborough drove for in the 80s also died the other day, although views on his legacy are a little muddy because of some controversy in the horse breeding business he ran.
One of the strongest things whether it’s a team or an individual is that they must be able to take criticism because if they’re not able to, there’s no way they’re going to grow and improve.
RIP Cale. I remember looking at the head to head stats between Cale and Richard where they competed against each other and I believe Cales numbers were higher.
I’m interested to see if SHR has any races with no sponsors. I know haas usually covers some races but I don’t think haas companies can cover all the races. I wanna see how the ten team and the 4 team look with their new drivers
I knew Cale’s nephew Ernie, he also raced in NASCAR but in the Busch Series for select races. Praying for him and the Yarboroughs.
R.I.P Cale Yarborough who was one of the best drivers to come out of my home state of South Carolina along with David Pearson who shall also Rest in Peace.
RIP Sir Cale Yarborough
You will alway be remembered for the tough hard working racer. I only got to see a few of your races, but your performances speak for themselves.

waiting for someone to come back to this in september when SHR’s statement aged horribly…
If harvick was still there I’d say ok
But the lineup rn isn’t great. They need another year or 2 before they become real contenders
lol exactly

Precisely
We lost Both Gil de Ferran and Cale Yarborough in less than a weekend, which unfortunately it is a sad point to end 2023
Add Roland Leong (NHRA) and Ricky Ferkel (World of Outlaws) to that list unfortunately.
@@Scrapyard24c yup. I saw the Roland Leong obituary on Racer website
One of the toughest steel gladiators of all time! RIP Cale!11
He’s more like he’s made out of cast iron and vibranium composite.
GD Right
He will be missed

Cale Yarborough’s backup car for that race was actually a show car inside of a Hardee’s that they beefed up
Kinda reminds me of 1983 Daytona 500, the backup car happens to be Pontiac Le Mans

Also a RIP to Rick Ferkel. He was a huge part of developing CBell in dirt sprint cars when he came to Ohio and got racing out of California.
This good for SHR. Maybe they needed to hear the good the bad and the ugly. Now they will work harder and should be able to show it on the track.

The racing world mourns the loss of Gil De Ferran and Cale Yarborough. Both legendary racers and the respect from everyone.
