I grew up watching this man dominate, I’m so happy to be able to witness this history take place.

I may not have seen his earlier years of driving but he was always my favorite since day 1, and will never ever forget the night that nine year old me cried tears of joy when he won that 7th title. Nowadays I do think that his championships were definitely not the ones like Gordon, Earnhardt, or Petty won, but no matter what the reality is that he _is_ another 7 time champion who did everything he could to win them. He will forever be my GOAT and nothing or nobody will convince me otherwise.

To grow up watching Jimmie and Chad they provided so many memories of my childhood. Now to see them go into the Hall of Fame together on the same night means the world. The Belichick and Brady of NASCAR get immortally together. No shame in admitting I cried tonight. What a ride they took us on.

CONGRATULATIONS Team 48 Jimmie, Chad and Lowes! As a former Lowe’s employee we cheered extra loud the mornings after each victory! We felt like one of your team members and it was special to have y’all as the face of our company on the race track! Jimmie and Chad you men deserve this HALL OF FAME! Like Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk there was something extra exciting every time y’all were in a race, so it’s no surprise the powers that be saw it fit to honor y’all in this capacity! NASCAR is better because of the things y’all and Team 48 did.

I was working at Hendrick Chevrolet in Atlanta
Ga in 2001when I first heard about the development team Hendrick was building to help Jeff. I became a fan in 2000 at Watkins Glen when you pulled your Rocky imitation on the roof of that car

I’m a new NASCAR fan but I’ve quickly become a huge fan of his. I didn’t get to watch any of the championships, heck I’ve never even watched him run a race live let alone win one. Despite that the respect and love I have for Jimmie is out of this world. I’m so proud of him, this is a very well deserved honour.

Unless you literally just became a fan after November you probably watched him run a race in 2023 but just didn’t know it

I watched the whole ceremony live tonight on Peacock! They all had great speeches! Congratulations to Jimmie, Chad, and Donnie, also to Janet Guthrie and Chav Glick! I grew up in 2000s NASCAR when Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus were unstoppable, I always was and always will be a fan of theirs, I always respected Jimmie for the way he raced on the track and the way he treated the other drivers, with kindness and respect! Every time Jimmie would win a race, I was so happy for him! Now to see him with 83 wins and 7 championships and as a NASCAR Hall of Famer is great to see and much deserving hands down!!! I love you Jimmie, congrats and I can’t wait to watch you race your 9 Cup races this year, go get some more wins on your list!!!

Very humble and inspiring speech from Jimmie. Love how often he took his time to thank everyone that helped him and would stay silent to let everyone applaud them.

I saw Jimmie win so many races in person including some of the biggest races and I’ll admit I didn’t appreciate what I was witnessing. One of the best to ever sit behind the wheel of a race car.
