What are you most looking forward to in the NASCAR Cup Series this year?
No getting a bill for satellite/cable/streaming. Either NASCAR is on OTA channels, or it doesn’t exist.
Boring race bring that race back to Daytona
Just hoping that this Clash won’t happen again in 2025.
Great racing, better equipment, improved NASCAR car specs, less fines, more excitement on the track.

Props?? You think they did that out of the kindness of their hearts? It’s called damage control. They stood to lose WAY more if they hadn’t refunded or credited ticket buyers.
WTF? I thought the race was tomorrow? I’m upset, was thinking about watching the race tomorrow all day.
They moved it up to today because of severe storms and flood warnings for tomorrow in the area

Didn’t miss much. By just watching the highlights you’ll gain two hours in your life to do something productive. Luckily the Iowa Women’s Basketball game with Maryland was on Fox at the same time. It would be interesting to see which had the most viewers.

Remember when “highlights” showed replays, different angles of replays and added info that may not have been known during the broadcast? These are just clips from the broadcast. They don’t even show many of the replays..
And the scoring pylon was in the way of the leader on half the shots.

its an exhibition race anyway. Marketing gimmick is smart, not an insult. Nascar will tell you directly they’ve been doing this to attract more fans. Its not a secret.

I found it by chance, channel surfing. I’d be po’d if I missed it, too. Somebody said there were 2 of these races today, but only one was televised.

Bring the Clash back to Daytona. This other track experiment has blown up in Nascar’s face. Daytona is where the Clash belongs. Stop messing with tradition Nascar!
I think it’s less a matter of messing with tradition, and more that the track just sucks for motorsports.
