New York for 2025?
Weather is supposed to be NASTY the next three days, so they had no choice
Agreed, looking at the forecast, running the races tonight is prudent.
What about all the fans that paid for tickets and don’t have time to get to the track? NASCAR also has rain tires for this race.
@@bocatcc They probably get rain checks
@@yungsagegaming8577 it’s not in LA next year.
Rain tires would be ineffective if the volume of rain predicted holds to the forecast. From the National Weather Service – * “IMPACTS…Dangerous and life threatening flooding is possible with
this event, including urban areas. There is the threat of extensive roadway flooding as well as significant debris flows in
recent burn scars.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Main stem rivers
will have the potential for significant flow and flooding concerns, bringing a very high risk of swift water rescues. In addition, there will be the threat of extensive rock and mudslide activity on mountain and canyon roadways, which could cause
significant travel delays and road closures.”
NASCAR actually did something right for once
could have still had heat races…..???
They have rain tires. None of the fans that have tickets know the race is today instead. NASCAR doesn’t care about anything but money. Fans don’t matter
I was looking forward to watching the Mexico Series race which sucks.
It’ll be on right after! 10:30 p.m. ET!
@NASCAR you suck. People planned to be at the race tomorrow and didn’t have notice to get there today. NASCAR doesn’t care about fans anymore.
@@NASCAR you suck
Luckily they didn’t push it to Monday.
so they can move a race less then 24hr before hand and they moved it a full day ahead.
Hit the Phil Collins because I CAN feel it coming in the air tonight!!!
Fire this guy
Don’t see why. You’re just being nitpicky.
I’m all for the changing it to tonight smart move but against them moving it from Fox to FS1
The race should have been on Fox so everyone could see it.
@nascar doesn’t care about fans anymore
@@bocatcc Keep telling yourself that bud.
It was. It was on Fox Sports 1, like always.
@@NrinaNutshell you have not been a fan for over 40 years. You do not know how it’s changed since the 80s. @nascar doesn’t care about fans anymore.
@NrinaNutshell every race use to be on abc, NBC. CBS or fox. @nascar only wants big TV deals because fans stopped going to races live. When they take away all the stands on the back stretch of Daytona that held 40k people because they can’t sell tickets should tell you something. @nascar was better with Bill Sr and Jr still running the sport.
Hey Nascar, the audio on your app wasn’t working for the scanners or MRN, or anything. I hope you get that fixed for race time. Us people that pay monthly or in my case yearly, for the cameras and scanner audio, want to make sure we get out money’s worth
Glad NASCAR is back but I hope this is the last year they do this race here. I don’t understand why they took it from Daytona. This race is absolutely horrible has been since they started it. Should be part of speed week at Daytona. Should be Saturday night before Daytona 500 qualifying like it used to be. Seriously NASCAR bring it back to Daytona
@@NrinaNutshell Yes it has been horrible. You are obviously not watching the same race as me. And NASCAR could only wish it was like the 90’s and early to mid 2000’s. The cars were faster and you actually had to tune on them to get them to work. Don’t get me wrong I like the new cars, but they are awful short track cars. Don’t mistake me and others for wanting to watch good racing as bitching. If it was Bristol or Martinsville I would have no real complaints. But a track that is built like Bowman Grey isn’t that exciting to watch.
@@thomaskee880 there were 23 cars in last nights race, not the full field. The stands being empty was completely circumstantial to the schedule change that NASCAR had to make but all the haters will sit here and try to twist it to make it seem otherwise. Guess what, you move an event 24 hours early with 6 hours notice and the stands aren’t going to fill up….sorry but it had to happen.
As for Daytona, viewership both on tv and in the seats proved that what you’re trying to claim is a LIE. People weren’t interested. It fell off, so NASCAR made a move.
I just got home good and bad call, because nascar dosnt have to race on a day like wensday but bad because nobody really new that it was rescheduled, but everybody got refunded and the public got to see. The owners of the coliseum were paid 5,000 dollers because of it to
What happens to all of the people that bought tickets for Sunday and their hotel reservations and cancelled flights? They are out a boat load of money.
I mean, we’ve known for 2-3 weeks that it was going to rain for a week here in southern california. I don’t understand why they waited until the day of to notify the fans. Hope everyone travelling or that were only going to Sunday, get their money back on everything.
Why you guys dont do it next sunday?
