If NBC loses Dale, NASCAR as a whole will be effected. He could wind up doing Prime or TNT races, but that isn’t very many races. He needs to be apart of a big chunk on the schedule.
When your name is on the building it’s ultimately your responsibility, the sooner SHR as an organization top to bottom quits yapping and starts producing good results in Cup, the sooner you’ll stopped being blamed Anthony.
I’m sorry, but I do not think Tony is the problem at SHR it’s Gene Haas. It cannot be a coincidence that his F1 team sucks and has started to suck more than usual around the same time SHR has been sucking. Yeah I know Tony is be a distracted with his drag racing and the SRX but I think it’s mostly Gene.
One funny thing Haas can’t go over seas to F1. If my memory is correct he is a felon (tax fraud) he can’t travel overseas. But I’m sure he’s at the NC shop or the CNC business
around when he became a convicted felon for failing to pay 38 million in taxes, and is currently under investigation for selling cnc machines to russia.
Gene Haas had multi million dollar sponsorships before Stewart co-owned the team and they still sucked. Weren’t for Tony Gene would’ve shut down the team long ago. One of the worst team owners in the garage.
@@steveeazy18 unless they get the rights to Indycar for 2025 (NBC’s contract expires at the end of the year & they are unlikely to renew) or the F1 rights once the ESPN contract expires next year in addition to NASCAR.

@@TheJudoJokerthat is true. I don’t think any owner is going to say that. But then again no other owners currently (besides Denny) has been a driver that’s been as successful as Tony, so I get it. $45-50 per month!!!! For 3 channels?!?! You can get full cable coverage with services like Fubo and Sling for less than that. That streaming service is going to tank harder than any other before it. Who in their right mind would go out of their way to pay more for less product?
It’s ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, FS2, TNT, TBS and 5-6 others, but still way overpriced. I was expecting around $20 a month. I have sling currently. I don’t see this making me want to change. This also doesn’t cover NBC or USA races. I don’t think peacock will ever show the races on USA. Almost everyone will stay with cable or sling, fubo, YouTube TV, etc.
I agree. Live streaming was supposed to be the answer to expensive cable TV, but it sounds like they’ll be the same price or more. It’s all the racing series that are doing it. If they want to lose all the older fans in pursuit of the younger ones, good luck with that.
@@tomchrisfield7348nascar hasn’t really cared about losing fans for about 15 years now. They’ll just remove more seats from the tracks to make them look full and do like Daytona and paint the seats different colors so from a distance on tv cameras it gives the illusion of people sitting in the stands. That clash race Saturday had as many fans in the crowd as a high school football game from what I could tell by the highlights. I hardly even watch nascar anymore and used to loyally watch every race. I might have seen half a dozen last year and didn’t even watch the full races. I’m certainly not paying a bunch of different streaming services just to watch a race
NASCAR needs to bite the bullet and get JR on their books. They would be able to loan him out to both FOX and NBC and have a consistent voice on the broadcast throughout the year
$40 for a combined chunk of the sports landscape. What’s ironic is that we’ll end up paying more for streaming than we did cable and still not have ala carte choices.
The truth is, If Jr came out today and said he will run this 1 season in cup, after years of being retired, he would be voted most popular driver, sell the most merch and appeal out of anyone, and he would increase the tv viewership by a decent margin. He is the most influential and magnetic person in the sport of stock car racing. It’s amazing, like it or hate it.
I agree with you. If Tony’s gonna put the blame on the people that he hired… Maybe he should actually do something about the problem he seems to have identified. If the people he hired arent getting the job done, maybe it’s time to find new people for that job.

Dale Jr can never touch Benny Parsons
