I saw that. So much better. Instantly thought of Eric’s scheme video.

@@darthhull85 SAME ! The moment I saw the paintscheme , this video popped up. I knew what I had to do. But the timing was prefect.

I’m curious what this new Ford body does
Is it better or worse than the old mustang?

@Crush1084 February 14, 2024 at 10:51 pm

I expect Chevy to be better early on, but I think both Ford and Toyota will be faster as they figure things out

Kyle Busch and Rusty Wallace don’t have a 500 despite each having 50+ cup wins but both are still legends

Mark Martin too, but 40 wins. Still…

Brad has 35 too, it’s going to be a hell of a show. So excited, probably more than ever. Counting the hours!

CMON KYLEEE. From the uk. Also question, if there is a massive 15 car pileup on the last lap of the race , how does nascar determine who finishes where

Reply
@InsaneCelery238 February 14, 2024 at 9:57 pm

Nascar will freeze the field at the time of caution, whoever is leading at that time is the winner! hope that helps!

@Savetherice8 February 14, 2024 at 10:19 pm

@@InsaneCelery238 Oh ok but say like 15 cars crashed, what determines who is where because all the cars are crashed

@AngeloRametta February 14, 2024 at 10:38 pm

@Savetherice8 this is something that as a 8+ year fan I’ve never completely understood. But I believe it’s this: Say 10 cars wreck, some from the front of the field, some from the middle and some from the back. Let’s say 5 of them are completely out of the race after that wreck, and they are so damaged that the car won’t run anymore. Wherever they were positioned AT THE MOMENT OF CAUTION, in relevance to the other cars that wrecked, they are positioned ahead or behind the other wrecked cars based on their exact location on the track when there was a caution. Now let’s say those other 5 cars can move and still can drive their car around the track. If they are able to make it back to the start finish line, then they are able to finish higher then the 5 wrecked cars that are out of the race. Now some of those cars might go to pit road and try to repair. If the car is too damaged, then they will retire from the race and start going laps down even when out of the race. The more laps down you are the further down you finish. I hope that helps and glad to see you’re pulling for Busch. BUSCHY!!!!

@N2r6S February 14, 2024 at 10:39 pm

So it’s a bit hard to explain how they do it, basically it is who is we’re at the moment of caution *however* let’s say the guy in 11th when the caution comes out has to much damage to get to the line, then he would be dropped to the back and acts that were running behind him but crossed the line would all be scored as finishing higher than him. Hopefully that makes sense.

I imagine Kyle Bush is going to win big this year. Feel he could win championship. He has cleared up his schedule and ready to concentrate only on the championship. But I pull for Brad K most

Kyle Busch won’t retire with only 2 championships. He’s focused. And now his team has setups for each track they can work with, instead of going into it blind

Kyle Busch has only raced in 18 Daytona 500’s. Many people forget he didn’t race the 2015 edition due to injury.

Raced in 18, but attempted 19. He was on the entry list and had qualified and was planned to start the 2015 Daytona 500 until his injury. Unlike Stewart in 2016 who didn’t attempt to qualify in as the driver, but raced the season and made the playoffs.
