Let's go 2024 Truckin' yall! The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is back at Daytona. Do they put on a great show or continue the nasty bar set at the end of last year?
Sadly chaos is the product of the plate races. Some watch the big races and love the wrecks and others , like us, watch the whole season. Your enjoy the racing or the crazy.
I am watching the ARCA race at approx. 11:25 PM EST and the 1st caution just flew for a multicar wreck on Lap 5 at the front of the pack.
In my opinion, they should pull Daytona, Talladega, and Atlanta from the schedule until they can get rid of the bump draft.
The truck race sucked. I have been to several truck races at Bristol and have seen fewer there than tonight or the finale.
What a joke of a race. These guys couldn’t back out of a laneway without running over the garbage garbage can. Don’t let them race on a track bigger than a mile and a half
Quite honestly I’m not really sure if there is a fix. After watching the ARCA race that shows that sometimes it can be a great race without the whole wrecking and sometimes theres races like tonight. The best you can do is to tell the drivers to use their heads but IMO if it happens it happens.
Side drafting killed this race. Honestly it’s just ruining all of trucks right now. It’s too much for the drivers to stay that close too each other every single lap.
I honesty think the Xfinity series is going to be like the truck race because we got rich kids who don’t deserve it like hailie deegan and Jesse love in the field.
Also the truck race was bad but it was not as bad as the Phoenix race. Close tho
Congrats to Nick Sanchez and Rev Racing on surviving the truck race at Daytona. Sooner or later the Truck series your put on good race…Yup another crash fest 40 started 21 finished.
That last wreck I counted 17 trucks at least involved i did clearly 19 41 15 and 91 in the last accident and racing reference and jayski missed that. And who was in 87 there was no 87 last I checked in this race.
I feel like going to Daytona isnt even worth it to me. Flying there, spending money on a hotel for the week, etc, etc. Just to watch this racing product…

It’s not just plate races it’s a truck series wide issue. They’re just hacks

The worst take of all time

Yeah, I already put in a vacation day for Monday, given the weather. Fucking used to it at this point.

It’s not side drafting. It’s just stupid pushing too early in the race

Hailie didn’t race, but your point is valid.

Idk which was worse, the Truck race or the ARCA race. Yikes all around today.
Shame for Shane lol
I’m just glad it’s bedtime
Yeah but I can’t fathom why start a 20 lap stage 2 with first 5 laps or so ran under caution. Thats why nascar has turned me off last few years
Definitely wasnt worse than the championship last year but not good
Craftsman truck series? More like the Crashing truck series, am I right?
Love the wrecks It is amazing. My nephew loves the wrecks. That is how I get him to watch racing.

It was definitely amatuer hour
