Kyle Busch is one of the top 10 best drivers in NASCAR history. When it comes to the top three combined series nobody has won more than Rowdy and when it comes to his NASCAR Cup Series career the Daytona 500 is the only piece of his left on an illustrious and future unanimous Hall of Fame career. So, is Kyle Busch just destined to fail? How has Kyle Busch never won the Daytona 500?

Do you think Kyle Busch will win a Daytona 500?
Yep this sunday
As his fan is painful to say, but I don’t see him winning…
Yes
Yes, this Sunday.
Yes
I really want to see Kyle Busch win the 500 before he hangs it up so bad!
I don’t he still doesn’t deserve it and neither his two Cup titles.
Nah he’s overrated and I’ll never forgive him for always screwing over Jr
I don’t really care either way it pans out. I don’t like him, nor do I dislike him. I respect him.
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld holy crybaby
@@david-468 boohoo, quit living in 2008. Jr started it back in Kansas 2007 and they’re both even.
2008 and 2009 hurts the most
2019 hurts more
@iagofreitas910 honestly 2023 was the most painful for me, he lead at the 200th lap, in any other era he would’ve won. Overtime kills
09 was hilarious as a Jr fan watching Jr take crybaby Busch out
2009 when Dale Jr decided to race Brian Vickers like the last lap while they were a lap down
Kyle Busch and Rusty Wallace have 50+ wins each but no 500, however both are still legends
Rowdy’s more of a legend than Rusty Wallace will ever be (he has 3 championships over his Matt Keseth-ized 1)
I don’t never leave comments, but I have to correct your statement. That is incorrect rowdy. Busch does not Have 3 Championships only 2.@@S.K.R.E.Inc.
Not winning a superspeedway doesn’t define a career
@@S.K.R.E.Inc.2 champions fanboy
Been a KB fan since the beginning of 2008 and will be until he retires. And I don’t think it’s a big deal it’s just a race and he’s won everything else. And this yr I would love to see it but unfortunately i won’t see it. Because my 2 nd driver after Kyle is going to win it this year. It’s Bubba’s year.
He’ll pull an Earnhardt and win on his 20th try.
You just jinxed it
Kyle is one of the best to ever strap into a race car, has numerous accolades, is a 2 time champion, and yet has never won the Daytona 500. I hope he can win 1 before he retires.
2023 killed me bro
I almost cry every time I see it
Given that in an interview a few years ago he said that he not only wanted to match Kurt’s achievements in racing, but to beat them, he’s probably thinking “if Kurt can win the Daytona 500, then I can too”
it’s even harder now with the ‘air brake’ spoiler. You’re at the mercy of the car behind you to keep the bubble open because once someone gets out of line, it’s like applying the brakes. the following car has way too much influence with the current package
it’s a crapshoot just like the chase
This will actually be Kyle Busch’s 19th attempt to win the 500. Even though he qualified for the 2015 running, he was replaced by Matt Crafton because of injury.
However, I still have a feeling people are overhyping Busch because of his resurgence at RCR. Yes, he was strong in the first half of last year with 3 wins, but he struggled in the 2nd half and the hype died out.
Almsot forgot how terrible looking those COTs were.
Just like Tony Stewart can’t win the 500 but can win 3 championships. However it’s the exact opposite for Hamlin who can’t stop winning the 500 but not one championship
same with Jr.
Difference is, Busch can still run well even after changing teams, same with Jr for a while (concussions really did him in). Stewart couldn’t hack it after leaving Gibbs, he wouldn’t win 2011 in the Piston system. Also, Hamlin at this point is a lost cause. Daytona is at the palm of his hand, yet can’t keep the consistency by the time NBC takes over
It’s hard to believe he hasn’t.
@@hengineerI think Junior didn’t feel like he belonged on the same team as Jeff and Jimmie. He was always rather timid and kind of lost…until plate tracks of course.
@@hengineerBetween Busch and Cup, he did collect 50 wins, but should have had about 50 wins in cup…
You’re a class above all the rest of the YTrs. Keep up this format. It’s better than anything the networks put out. You’re made for this.
last year hurt so badly
being a KB fan since 2008 and with him having idk 5 years left? I’d love to see 3 things. 70 cup wins, another cup championship or of course a Daytona 500 win. I always say maybe this is the year. then he gets wrecked and lmao moving on to next year but yeah I hope he wins this year, I think the crowd would give a big pop.
He won the Daytona road race course but I’m surprised he never one the Daytona 500

I want to see KB win a 500, but something bugs me about this Dale Earnhardt parallel. Dale came into the 98 500 with 29 wins at Daytona and 7 wins at Dega. Add in Manny other competitive races and coming close several times in the 500, it was much more of a mystery that Dale had not won the 500. I think some thought he might be cursed at Daytona like a Lloyd Ruby or Michael Andretti at the Indy 500. Yet, KB has just 6 wins total between Daytona and Talladega. KB is not the ‘restrictor plate’ racer that Dale was, not even close.
