Eyyyy Eric After Dark
When will people ever realize that ARCA, Trucks, and the less talented half of Xfinity are all comprised of the same types of people that could enter each series interchangeably
As someone who was at the track and just got back from home, I can confirm my legs are dead, also I saw you at the track
matt crafton flip vs taylor gray flip
“patience is a virtue” actually comes from a roman poem/poet
A big change needs to be made in trucks this is gotten past ridiculous.
Hey at least the arca race isn’t as ba- oh never mind
It’s not that bad, thankfully
You’re right, not as bad… it was worse
@@leeseiler2641 not as good as last year, but it wasn’t like Trucks. Trucks was waaaaay worse
Great job Eric! Better than anyone at NBC or FOX
I agree – I thought the analysis was solid for a crazy race where there was so much aggression with loose trucks.
At my local track, when the drivers treat the race like a demo derby, the officials make them restart SINGLE FILE.
This calms things down and forces cleaner racing
But you know how fans is now. “We hate train racing, make a move. We want to see 3-wide racing.” I’m telling you, Nascar fans are never happy.
THIS so much!
@@jeremiegranger7285The problem is the trucks don’t have enough talent anymore to run 3 wide.
Your local short track cares more about the integrity of the sport than NASCAR does.
I don’t know that I’d put this one 100% on the drivers. Those trucks looked squirrely as hell. Like, yeah, they shouldn’t have been pushing as hard. They should have been a little more patient. But man, whatever they were running for the trucks’ setup wasn’t it.
I agree, just didn’t look right
Agree with you 100% – those trucks were sliding out all race with several drivers.
I think they’ve lost the benefit of the doubt at this point phoenix was the nail of the final coffin
The track surface is getting old. It’s a lot slicker and bumpier then it used to be. Looks like they are setting up the trucks like when the track surface was good years ago.
I agree, even during qualifying they looked unstable.
Quite honestly I’m not really sure if there is a fix. After watching the ARCA race that shows that sometimes it can be a great race without the whole wrecking and sometimes there are races like tonight. The best you can do is to tell the drivers to use their heads but IMO if it happens it happens.
The fix is to get rid of the series. It’s no longer a proving ground for the next generation of drivers. Instead it is a playground for spoiled rich kids to live out their racing fantasy one wreck at a time.
I think Nascar should loosen the restrictions on buschwhacking for the truck series. Having more experienced cup drivers on track who won’t put up with this behavior will help the young drivers mature.
@@craigstephenson7676yeah, not get rid of the restrictions completely, but maybe go back one step.
This is the talent pool NASCAR has created for itself. Greed has taken over. Money is more important than talent. NASCAR needs to give these race teams more money so they can afford to hire talented drivers instead of rich ones.
Liking and replying to boost the comment
At one point in stage 2 Michael Waltrip said “Stuart Friesen is a bit aerodynamically challenged” I thought that would be a hilarious insult to say to somebody. I was laughing thinking about it
Pikey Mikey was “Mentally challenged” with that.
I rarely watch the truck series anymore. I get my 10 minute highlights from NASCAR on Fox YouTube channel.
I’m gonna be real, I took off early from work to grab a few beers and watch the truck race. I was not disappointed because they completely delivered on what I expected. Wish Majeski won but thats alright
They looked like Hall of Famers next to the ARCA Menards drivers. This thing is horrid.
Nah, these guys are the same picture to me. The Stock Pickup Trucks are loose to begin with and they ran like prepubescents.
Not a fun night as a Rajah fan…
Want the guy to succeed, but that dumb move wrecked almost everyone left in the field including his teammate Lajoie (who could have given him a push in 3/4 to possibly win the race)
@@iceq321yeah it looked like LaJoie kinda gave him a push in the wrong spot and the truck came out from under him.
@@johnisawesome3061looked like he was trying to put a 5 foot wide truck in a 4 foot hole.
As someone who just got home from the double header, I’m absolutely drained, but still a great experience when I was sitting near turn 4. The amount of cautions from both races honestly drained me so emotionally.
