Once again, rain wins
The Daytona 500 isn’t gonna be ran till Monday after the Xfinity race.
Just look at the forecast
That’s why the made the race so early so that Daytona will have a decent start time after
Man that sucks. I will be able to watch it Monday as I’m off but for the others that have work or school it’s really unfortunate.
Most of the time, the race will be uploaded to YouTube in a day or two.

Looks like Mother Nature thinks that NASCAR is absolutely boring, which it isn’t.
Same thing’s gonna happen with the 500.
I would rather it be postponed til Monday instead of only being able to see it get rained out today during the race

It wouldn’t be Nascar without some sort of rain delay. Is it just me but in the recent years, if a race gets delayed, the delayed race is some of the best races we have seen in recent years?

Any word on sunday’s race if postponed or anything?
I really hope Monday 11am doesn’t remain the norm for postponement much longer. Thankfully this time is a holiday but I’m so sick of races being rescheduled during work hours. There is absolutely no excuse not to run the race at night if the track has lights. This has been a problem for decades and still Nascar refuses to fix it!
You’re not going to get them delayed to primetime 99% of the time because That doesn’t work for TV or the teams
You should have waited till 8:00pm EST on Sunday night or 6:00pm EST on Monday to run the race, a ratings killer for Fox and for NASCAR
