While Tony Stewart did won 4 straight races, unless Austin Hill ties that streak, then he tied Dale Earnhardt Jr who was the last driver to only won 3 straight February Daytona Xfinity Series races. So that’s still an impressive run by Hill especially given what happened tonight. Point is that he’s in iconic company even if he doesn’t win a NASCAR championship. Besides the regular season championships that is.
@@iTmSimsbased on the winner’s day it was just a standard Daytona race for SVG. The only guy I don’t remember being wrecked or spinning someone finished second.
Time to glue the parts back on so we can wad them up again in Atlanta. Gotta “love” plate races.
Honestly that’s exactly where I expected him to finish. I was hoping he’d get a top 10 but oh well. It’s only a matter of time before he gets his first top 10 on an oval.
It’s all about learning the car and learning the type race craft used in this game The Giz is one of the best in the business at learning cars and race craft pretty much a natural ability for this guy, he’s only going to get better going by his history.
Come on down to Daniel Suarez’s hood modifications for all your hood modification needs! (Suarez’s hood modifications will not be held responsible if you get caught up in the wreck I caused)
@@erwinpadgett1050 Hey, I’m not saying she’s not. I’m not saying she’s not going to fail, she just might. But one race, in a brand new series with a new team, at Daytona, caught up in an accident that she had absolutely nothing to do with is no indication of what her season would be. Would we be having this conversation if it were any other driver? Like Sam Mayer, who was also in that wreck and who was also riding around in the back?
@@drumjedi5301 I wasn’t talking about Daytona really. Just general. You are right about Daytona racing. She has a problem of driving over her head instead of letting the team adjust the car for her. Until she learns that she’ll continue the pattern. It’s been her problem all along. Learning from her mistakes is not her strong point, too.

Thoughts on the finish?
Consistency? What’s that? Safety? What’s that?

I’m glad they let them race it out.

We will never see the replays for that final wreck will we
Doubt it. I’ve been waiting.
Excellent svg. Nice charge up the inside on the last lap.

Glad I kept myself up to watch this
Deegan can’t blame the truck series.
It was one race, bro. And Daytona at that. She was caught up in a wreck not of her doing, just like 20 other cars were over the course of the race.
@@drumjedi5301Remember your words when she continues to wreck all season. Over rated.

both races were a carnage. the pack is too tight.
I feel like if creed hadn’t slowed assuming there would be a caution, he might have given hill a fair run to the finish
creed just gave up on that last lap after the crash
12th svg awesome
Did Hailie Deegan get into the back of Daniel Suarez in that early wreck? The coverage was a bit lacking.
