As a Bowman fan. This HURTS. HURTS BADLY. He hasn’t won in TWO YEARS. And he almost won the race everyone wants to win. And fell a few inches short. Oh sure second is good, but isn’t that what they told the bills after their 4 straight Super Bowl loses?

@jjy4824 That wasn’t his fault. You could blindfold yourself and throw a dart at the wall and whatever driver you land on you could make a case that they caused the wreck.

@@hotwheelzvette959 it came from a bad push, which happens a lot yeah, but it’s still his fault. Same thing as Brad early in the race
@jjy4824 Now that you mention Brad, I’ve realized how incredibly easy it is nowadays to cause a massive wreck on ss races. When the stakes get higher as you keep driving at 190 mph, then it can happen to anybody. It’s just unfortunate for Bowman and Brad but this is just the kind of things that can happen now.

Bro wrecked most of the contenders. Him and Byron didnt deserve to be up there.
For the record; I believe Bowman does have the right to appeal if he thinks he won the race. But it looks like Byron was JUST out front at the moment of caution.
Man this hurts as a Bowman fan, if they still went green Bowman would’ve had him.
“I made some mistakes” meanwhile he’s responsible for wrecking 25 cars because he was pushing way too much as usual for Alex bowman and superspeedways. It’s either a block or push, but some way some how the 48 is gonna find a way to cause a crash.
He was literally trying his hardest not to cause a wreck if you payed attention to him during the race.

With the 24 and the 48 combining efforts, these two drivers took out their adversaries with. as Byron actually said…”I made the right move”,,,you surely did. Byron had 3 Charity wins last year. He’s off to a great start in 2024.
I actually predicted Bownman to win. Just a hunch I had before the race. I was kind of shocked to see it almost come true. I looked at the highlights again, and I don’t think Byron or Bowman did anything wrong. Logano attempted a block on the 24, so Bryon shifted down the track reacting to it changing the alignment of the bump draft. As we saw in the duels, once that momentum is there, it’s hard to abort a bump draft. I recall we saw a bad bump in the duels where someone clearly got off the throttle and still ended up making contact. And they run tiny brakes at these tracks. Plus, they can only slow down so much or risk getting run over themselves. So that seemed like a racing deal to me.

that really did hurt last night i am a big fan of alex bowman i really wanted him to win but to me he did a awesome job last light he prove to him self and to everyone he can still get the job done when it counts but still am very happy that william byron and the 24 team won the daytona 500 he deserves it as well but to me alex is going to get that win very very soon it is coming this season he will have a grear season this year in 2024
