It was a very great race
BYRON
If this happened in 01. Dale would still be here.
Was there a white flag lap caution before his wreck?
Funny thing cation didn’t come out in the xfinty race
I think if you wreck in the tri-oval taking the white flag it’s not like they can have them race back around to the scene of the accident.
@@richsimpson7273you can wait to see if cars get moving, or wait until they race to turn 3
But that goes against the rule book because last lap next flag ends the race doesn’t matter if its checkers or a yellow. 4 cars where involved in the Xfinity race on the last lap and that had basically had the track blocked.
@@richsimpson7273 the xfinity wreck happened in the same spot as the truck series wreck, which ended under caution. The ARCA wreck happened going into T3, which ended under caution. Tri-Oval or not, either we finish under green, or we don’t; shouldn’t be a ‘pick and choose’ situation. Stack them back up and try again ffs.
@@TellaSignTVthe truck race had a caution because we had a truck flip. Also, each series has a different director responsible for determining if there should be a caution, so there will be differing opinions at times from series to series.
I dispute this to an extent the 60 gets collected by the 2 spins around and re-establishes himself back up to pace speed infront of chase Elliott. Nascar puts him in 20th though those cars well off the pack never even caught him by the time he re-established himself or the time of caution.
If you watch the live version of Bowman’s roof cam, it looks like Bowman won.
As a Bowman fan, I did think that Bowman did win because of the footage we got from the broadcast. But after NASCAR posted the arial shot of the moment of caution, Byron was clearly the winner. Onboard shots can really deceive who’s in front of the other car sometimes. This is the worst feeling of a 2nd place finish I’ve ever had… Now we just need to continue this momentum and convert it into wins and I know my 48 team can do just that! But huge congrats to William Byron and the whole No. 24 team on an incredible Daytona 500 win! Definitely well deserved!
Bummer he didn’t win, but a hell of a start to the season!
Up until I saw this, I still had a reasonable doubt that the 24 didn’t win…I held my breath and wasn’t satisfied until I saw this…amazing 1-2 either way!
Wow. Y’all can still type while NASCAR is spoon feeding you poop. You don’t need any video. Just a weak still photo gets you.
Lets goo hendricks
Where’s the aerial video? Anyone can photoshop a picture. I want to see the aerial video of the ending.
Who caused the crash?
Ross Chastain by shooting a gap and crashing.
So you’re telling me that you can only find ONE angle that Byron won… at the biggest race of the year…. On the FRONTSTRETCH
I’m sure there are plenty of other angles of it, but what does it matter? This one is perfectly clear showing the caution lights illuminated and Byron clearly ahead
@@UTSpeedShow Hahaha! No video for you! If you want video replays, go watch some other sport!
@@UTSpeedShow iut does not bc from the other way it shows bowman in front angles is a funny thing my man
My question is, since they were past the start finish line, and everyone drove away from the wreck, why didn’t they let them race back to the line, so we could have a real winner of the race.
I think this freezing the field crap is ridiculous!!
They crossed the finish line !
Nascar, please make the rulebook accessible to the public like literally every other sport.
This would be fine if u didnt immediately throw a caution in the Xfinity race. Y’all are inconsistent except it seems to benefit certain (Hendrick) teams…
NASCAR could have put out video of the leaders at the time of caution so their fans could see it. Instead they put out a video of two of their employees saying they got it right. Classic!
Mark Martin got screwed out of a Daytona 500 win in the Army car in like 2007, so your ules change on scoring loops and when the caution flag comes out. NASCAR lives on controversary they learned it a long time ago, and it works? Since most race tracks have 50% less stands now.
Awesome win for Team 24 !!
