NASCAR is always fluid in its shape, with so many changes over the years it can be easy to forget just how different the sport was ever 5 or 6 years ago. This also makes fans short sighted with how much things will changed in the short time to come and especially long term as well. So today I want to look at what we may possibly see heading into the second half of the current decade and into the next one. These are 7 things you could see in NASCAR soon.

What changes do you think will come to NASCAR in the coming years?
I think They’ll go International Racing In 2025.
A brand new 7th Generation of Chevy Camaro SS and ZL1 at NASCAR and Honda debut in NASCAR along with Toyota!!!!
More stadium races
@@NASCARFAN4EVERlet nascar go to Abu Dhabi
@@NASCARFAN4EVER I think I heard that they are doing international races in Japan in 2025. 312 days left.
*coughs* More Horsepower
I would be up for that. Along with other drivers too.
Toyota would threaten to up and leave NASCAR if they tried that.
@@Trainlover1995they’ve actually said they’d be all for more horsepower
Never thought i’d hear Hazbin Hotel in a NASCAR video
Me neither. I just recently watched the first few episodes out of curiosity, and to be honest, I kinda like it. The plot is pretty interesting, the characters and voice actors are really good, and the songs are fucking AMAZING.
I really want to see one of the cup drivers/teams run a Hazbin Hotel paint scheme. It would look awesome and it may draw in some fans of the show(And more young people in general) that are not into NASCAR.
I have two questions about a driver appearing on The Boys. Who would the perfect for the show, and why is it Denny Hamlin?
Because Denny Hamlin
Because he’d do something your favourite driver probably wouldn’t do
Kyle Busch would be intresting too, specially if he somehow use his 2010s persona
dennis hamlin could be on it’s always sunny in philadelphia as himself
his character would be retired without a trophy and exactly like dennis reynolds
How about a Cincinnati street race???
I-71 is already treated as a race track so why not put a street track in the 513
This would actually work. Cincinnati is a huge market
2:00 Why would NASCAR hold a street race for the Cup Series in Portland? Portland International Raceway exists, and they’ve been running Xfinity Series races there since 2022.
He was just saying as it gets more street races and it’s not visited by the cup series
HAZBIN HOTEL GANG RISE UP LETS GOOOOO
I’m impressed how _The Iceberg_ kept his narration neutral with regards to avoiding the terms such as: _Great;_ _Best;_ _Better;_ _Marvelous;_ and other superlatives used to put a positive spin on a sport or enterprise.
When it comes to the international races, I think it is a great opportunity for NASCAR to gain new fans overseas, especially those that have become disillusioned with what F1 has become in recent years. The UK, Germany, Japan & Australia are all countries outside of Canada & Mexico that if NASCAR put a race there, it would be well attended. Indycar could have done the same but they have so many issues currently & going forward (like Honda threatening to leave) that I don’t see them being in the position to do international races in the near future. I also think that the PNW will get a Cup Series race, specifically at Portland given how well attended the Xfinity race has been the past 2 years. Then when it comes to the broadcasting side of things, I think we will see more races on streaming (apart from the ones aired on Fox & the CW) as I think both NBC & TNT will try to put more races on Peacock & Max as a way of appealing to younger fans while still having them on broadcast/cable TV as well so that the older fans still have access to the sport.
Love to see NASCAR in the uk or Europe we have our own Rockingham that they could re open or brands Hatch on the Indy circuit would be amazing
From what john Hindhaugh/RLM crew said at last year’s Nurburgring 24H our Rockingham was at that time prepping to re open in 2023 or 2024. Need to check if it still is or has opened by now. I always liked the BTCC and British GT races there though, but I do feel like NASCAR wouldn’t work too well, look at how the CART races ended up, 2001 you had a great race, 2002 by the time the teams figured it out, along with rule and package changes, vastly different race. I’d rather see NASCAR come to places like Donington or Oulton as opposed to Brands. Brands is too short and narrow IMHO
I feel like the Cup cars could handle the full Brands Hatch course.
Imagine NASCAR running a street race in a town, rather than a big city, that would be wild if each year or every few years they switched it up for a new street course, even in lesser populated areas, giving it a more relatable type of feel and back to the roots vibes
Oklahoma has a passionate fan base but hasn’t had a race in almost 70 years, I’d do a street race in Oklahoma City the Sunday following Bedlam. Yes, it would be a playoff race, but I think integrating it with the game weekend would generate a lot of interest.
Also I want a Houston street race. It’s the 4th largest city in the country and has plenty of roads that would make for an interesting course.
I know it’s unrealistic but, Des Moines used to have a street race, what if we brought it back with nascar?
I think they should do an Suv/crossover/CUV series with the Mach E, Kona N, Blazer, Rav4, Grand Cherokee.. because those are the cars i see on the road more than sedans.
Remember that modified Camaro ZL1 that competed at the 24 Heures du Mans last year?
More of those, please.
I think NASCAR increasing their social media presence (through things like their deal with Bleacher Report) can/will really help them (with younger fans).
NASCAR needs to build a super speedway right in the middle of New York just for the memes.
Trump Superspeedway
I want NASCAR to do what they did during COVID and run two weeknight races a year. make one North Wilkesboro and the other Rockingham. Close to home, and smaller crowds. SRX had ok ratings. It allows for more off weeks, while still getting 36 races in.
I agree with a Daytona finale. Also a road course finale. Each type of track should have a final. It shouldn’t just be held on mile and a half ovals or mi ovals. They’re not the only tracks on the schedule.
A night road course race
The cars become lighter
A race in the European market
I hope they come over to Australia, run either surfers paradise or Adelaide Street circuits
If you’re going to come to Canada you have to do street races, I’m from Toronto and the Indy street race is huge here, we have a cool waterfront, and Montreal already has f1
