You got a good eye I was rooting for Busch but I thought Blaney won at first. When they showed the photo finish I honestly couldn’t tell who won between Blaney and Suarez. I’m glad Danny won he’s a great driver and regardless of what happens from here on out he is cemented forever in NASCAR Lore. He EARNED that.
Daniel Suarez is the man. Always happy to see an international driver succeed in NASCAR especially as a Canadian. Couldn’t be any happier for him. Hope this is the start of a career year for him.
This will be one of those races to be replayed among the NASCAR classics for years to come. Amazing finish!
Also, here’s a cool fact I just thought of. Kevin Harvick in his first Cup start at Atlanta win in a photo finish, then in his first race held there as a commentator, there’s a 3-wide photo finish.
