@@jackolson8775understandable for Tony tbh.

But Gene Haas has a crappy track record of being a racing owner. His Haas CNC Racing team was not good, but then Tony made it better. His F1 team is trash.

He’s less of a racing owner and more of a businessman. Which is business, but he’s just not a good race team owner

During their Chevrolet tenure Tony Stewart in his 3rd year for SHR won 5 of the 10 playoff races during his iconic 3rd championship run (2011) that’s one reason they could return there

It’s just does Chevy have the space. Hendrick, Trackhouse, and RCR ain’t leaving anytime soon, and unless a tier 2 team like Kaulig or Spire left, I don’t think they’d have the space.

If I nickel for every time a person affiliated with Honda and/or SHR found success in the US’s biggest motorsports, I’d have 2 which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice (Danica won her lone indy race while driving a Honda, and if SHR finds success with Honda, then there you go)

I stopped paying attention to NASCAR, and got into Motogp a decade ago. Now I am kind of getting back into Cup (fwiw, I have a photo of the King holding me at the 75 Pocono race, six months old.), and out of the groove is my source. Eric should be proud of what he has built.

You act as if Larson would be winning races in a Stewart Haas car. Just like Larson did in his Ganassi bow tie, Larson would be struggling in the piece of crap cars that Stewart Haas prepares these days. Their Xfinity cars are great, but their Cup cars are Tier 3 quality. Briscoe and Preece are both very talented drivers, and they’ve been atrociously bad in the Cup series due to the equipment at SHR. The same would be the case if Larson drove for them. Larson made the right choice by going to Hendrick, which is a Tier 1 team and always fast. Poor Noah Gragson won’t do any better there than he did in the Legacy junk last year.
