To enjoy Las Vegas you have to watch the beginning, know what’s going in the middle while you do chores…and then the ending is really good racing since they introduced the new gen cars. Otherwise yeah they need to figure something out. Compound on the outside line is what they should do to make the middle of the race worth watching

Great race by Chastain.From the back to fourth and a pit lane penalty too.The penalties for minor infringements are too harsh.

The new gen cup cars are so much better at this track than the lower series but I still think they should look into spraying the upper lane with compound. Reddick almost had Larson towards the end granted he’s the best late race wall driver. But if there was compound the racing at the end could really be even closer at this track. Being here twice a year they need to think about this

Once the cars get spread out it’s hard to catch the leader. So the best thing to do is get some points. If you had a super fast car you would have no trouble getting to the front, but alot of the cars did good. Gibbs surprised me along with the driver number 3 car. Lots of good driving, but as the announcer said as the field spread out it was hard to catch up.

Anybody in the comments? Stands to reason, some or most of us have heard of, or even watched, the NHRA.

Unsure what it has to do with today’s Cup race in Vegas.

@rayzie8599 March 4, 2024 at 8:25 am

people haven’t really been a fan of the mid-bank 1.5 miles in a long time. Old atlanta had way more character than vegas, kansas, etc. that being said, last week’s race was great.

@@rileyfair5 no I just hate the 1.5 mile tracks, there’s little action, I like the short tracks and road courses and the super speedways. 1.5 mile tracks allow for huge leads and little lead changes with is very boring in my opinion

@williamoakes1095 March 4, 2024 at 5:10 am

I like the new cars but get rid of the single lug nut.

Keep the stages but get rid of the stage cautions. Or we can compromise and keep the first and drop the second caution.

Then we would have a real race

Reply
@robertparker6654 March 4, 2024 at 6:10 am

I don’t like the single lug nut or the independent rear suspension , light touch on the wall , out of the race.

Not a fan of the stages this sport was built on dirt and endurance Your racing there should be no stoppages for anything until the checkered flag

Reply

I say drop the stages, go back to 5 lug nuts and lose the forced diversity/DEI bull$hit.
