Hey

@@RobbieLancelotwhat’s your reason? Honest question!
One lug is actually a much stronger wheel
why?
Nascar Guys Can do “Castelated Nuts” With Safety Wire on the Lower Ball Joint………………Welcome to the Aeronautical / Aircraft / Helicopter World Nascar Mechanics…… We Have Been Doing That A Long Time…
They are configured for safety wire but no.wire used.. Notice the bent over locking tab. That is a NAS-1605D BOLT.
Trans AM, IMSAN F1, Indy Car, Etc have using Single Center Knock Offs for decades. And yet, NASCAR can’t figure it out? It’s absolutely ridiculous. Other Race series don’t have this issue.
This is a pit crew issue.
They absolutely do just not as frequently. It’s a culture thing, or methodology, those other series use pneumatic air jacks and have more people during a pit service and are not as rushed like a cup crew is.

Should go up to 8 for the extra security.
@@hobbs12cats next time just don’t post.
the fact that the car lasted 12 laps with an unsecure wheel is pretty impressive actually!
If only he spent a little more time in pit he would of had a much better finish, if he had to gamble than thats fine. Its Las Vegas after all.
