With the 2024 NASCAR season a month or so under way and the 2025 and beyond media rights deal being inked we have much more information about the shape of NASCAR’s future. With this knowledge at hand I want to look forward at what the schedule could be a year from now. What will change? What will stay the same? This is a way too early 2025 NASCAR schedule prediction.

What predictions do you have for the 2025 NASCAR schedule?
We got to Montreal and back to Rockingham
I probably Daytona 500 on NBC Sports and The Return of The Rockingham Speedway!!!!!
NASCAR AT THE BATHURST SUPERFEST
2025 schedule to be released early like it used to be.
No Texas until 2026 so they can make it a superspeedway
I just hope that they can get across the border to Canada for a race next year. Whether that’s Canadian Tire, Montreal or maybe the streets of Toronto, I just want a race for us Canucks to claim as our own.
I would actually see Cup Series go to 2 international races and both of them would be points paying race and I would see lower goes to 1 international race. (Both Xfinity & Cup to Mexico & Both Truck & Cup to Canada maybe to Canadian Tires)
@@jacobwilson6192 are we just going to forget that those Mosport races just weren’t very good?
@@jabber1990 I heard that Nascar might go to both Canada & Mexico and I gave the Iceberg my 2025 early “BOLD” prediction and I go by that FOX might want the Clash to still be in Southern California so I would see them going for the Dodger Stadium, so Nascar hands will be tied thanks to FOX but I was see both Mexico & Canada would be in the points paying race so my opinion is Mexico will replace Phoenix 1st date & Canada will replace Richmond 2nd date. So I was trying that Cup Series will go to both Mexico & Canada both international races & both Xfinity Series & Truck Series will go to 1 international race, Xfinity Series will go to Mexico and Truck Series goes to Canada.
@@jabber1990tell me you didn’t see those races without saying you didn’t see those races? The finishes were off the hook….
@@marklittle8805 ….and what else happened?
Dodger Stadium is arguably a better place for what NASCAR’s targeting with the Clash than the coliseum, it’s anecdotal but my latino friends who live in LA are a lot closer to Dodger Stadium than they are the LA Coliseum
Dodgers is life in LA, just like the Lakers and the Rams and the Kings
This is true, as someone who lives near la the coliseum is kinda outside the main part of the city while dodger stadium is pretty much almost in the city
I love how Mexicans wear Dodgers hats and give money to a team that bulldozed their whole neighborhood to build a stadium.
I see at least one international race.
I see the clash getting moved to a different place.
No more roval!
The Rock getting brought back.
That’s all!
The Clash is getting moved, but my guess is until TexTucky is complete in Fontana, it’ll stay in the SoCal market. Dodger Stadium, Long Beach, Pomona Dragstrip, it can go anywhere. If the Roval is replaced, let’s hope a new 600 mile race takes its place. And Rockingham is a long shot at this point
Don’t think the Roval will be going away next year either, it’s tough to ignore how much better the 600’s been since they started doing the Roval and reset the teams notebooks with the 550 package and then NextGen (the last Gen6 stinkers came in 2016 & 2018 with 750 HP that the teams had extensive notebooks on), why risk messing with a crown jewel holiday weekend that’s working while also losing out on some schedule diversity (your proposal has 0 playoff road courses) for what will likely end up being a 7/10 Charlotte oval race due to it likely not being a Day to Night race like the 600
New Hampshire is BEAUTIFUL in September and October. I wish it was still in that date range.
176 days left till September 1st 2024. 206 days left till October 1st 2024. 542 days left till September 1st 2025. 572 days left till October 1st 2025.
I am still hoping for the surprise Rockingham revival, but I will probably be disappointed
At this point, most of us gave up when Iowa was introduced after North Wilkesboro made its return
One change I’d like to see is a different track for the finale every season
not alot of places they can go
North Wilksboro will finally have a points race since 1996
If Bowman wins TexARSE, that might just happen. Karma at its finest
I want two things. No Roval and bring back the Pocono doubleheader.
Would be really awesome to see Long Beach street race. Much closer to LA area than Fontana so it will bring the market and LA area just needs something better than the clash
That I’d love to see. A triple-header weekend and the top dogs from each series duke it out in a no holds barred interleague race like Le Mans at the end of the weekend
No
I’m still not a fan of loading up cable races. Going from 20 to 9 broadcast races os mot a good thing. The NBC TV portion will look worse if IndyCar ends up leaving NBC.
At this point, let it leave. That’s what they get for not outbidding Amazon for Jr
I really hope Indycar does not leave NBC
You would pay 140 for prime just for DaleJR wait after paying DaleJR prime will go up to 170-200 a year to pay DaleJR
@@Ronald_Jones it is very likely at this point unfortunately considering the fact that NBC needs to save money in order to regain the NBA next year. This is bad news for Indycar if it happens as apart from Fox, no other broadcaster is interested in Indycar despite the possibility of adding the Indy 500 to their portfolio of events. ESPN is all in with F1 (though that might change in 2026 since Netflix is looking to do an exclusive deal with F1 in the US in the next media rights deal), CBS doesn’t have enough room in its programming schedule to accommodate Indycar in a way that involves both linear TV & streaming & companies like TNT, the CW & Amazon have no experience with Indycar at all.
Whatever the 2025 schedule is I will still be watching it. If Nascar wants to stay in California they need to go to The Streets of Long Beach it’s a great race track and it’s only 26 miles south of Los Angeles. Indycar loves it and I know Nascar would love it too. Hey Nascar lets have a party at The Beach.
298 days left till 2025.
Rovals not going away, they’re clearly moving away from doubling up on tracks besides super speedways. This comes off as more of a wishlist then a potential reality. Even if they don’t do the street race they’re not going to Chicagoland that place needs a lot of work, they’d likely just go back to road America.
which is a bummer, I guess people are forgetting how bad the Road America races were
I think The Roval stays. But I would love for them to put temporary or permanent lights in the infield and do it at night. That Daytona RC at night was sooo dope (even if the race was boring) I just don’t see a road course being taken out of the playoffs. The ONLY way that happens is if The Glen replaces The Roval for that.
Yes, bring back those night races! Can the F1 Las Vegas race have NASCAR too? Even Miami GP? I really want that to happen. But trust me, it’s gonna bring a flavor explosion in the motorsports world.
It could be done you just have to organize with the race promoters.
I doubt Las Vegas would work due to local opposition, and I don’t think any other series can race on Miami due to a contract clause by F1
F1 would never ever let that happen. Plus Liberty Media paid for that paddock in Vegas.
Also add old NASCAR races in every single country out there
Add 60 NASCAR racing videos all 50 states
I wouldn’t mind having some Sunday night Playoff races, working in short track racing from late September to end of October you got short tracks holding their big money season ending races on Sunday afternoons. Be great to get home with a Cup race just starting. Other thing I’m curious about next is if Texas will be reconfigured before then, have to think if that’s on the agenda that we’ll see some news soon.
