Can’t wait for the race!
just keep the spoiler height the same as it was and add 100 more horse power
Whether you hate or love the decision, at least NASCAR is listening what we’re saying and trying their best to address this feedback. Way much better than Brian France’s rule that you would get hit by a $30k fine, like how Denny was complaining about it in 2013.
but that’s not going to happen
i’m getting REALLY tired of reading this same comment over and over and over every week…its like you think repeating the same thing over and over will magically fix the problem
….no wonder half of you are divorced
This video is well detailed. Im honestly looking forward to Phoenix.
Maybe after this change flops like all the others so far maybe we’ll finally get more horsepower but i still don’t see that happening
Toyota won’t allow nascar to add more power. Back in 2014 nascar ran 850hp, but toyota only won like 3 races that year and threatened to pull their funding from the sport, so the next year nascar started restricting HP and suddenly toyota became dominant again.
(I also heard toyota got HP reduced in Nationwide for the same reason around 2013, but I don’t know for sure if that’s true)
High horsepower will never return, not unless toyota has cooked up some better engines by now.
@@MrJohansen There might be a slight chance Toyota stops complaining and allows Nascar to add horsepower back since before 2022 Nascar was able to add 670hp to the cup cars for the mile and half tracks although 550hp to 670hp is only a 120hp increase but it could still possibly happen
Dude gave off a weird vibe, like he didn’t want to be there.
Also, WE WANT MORE HP!
Some people can’t do eye contact without getting anxious. I’m sure the camera on top of that made it worse.
He’s an engineer, not a media host. He’s probably not used to doing interviews
Also like the other reply mentions, some people can’t do eye contact. There’s no shame in that, it’s just how his brain works
@@MrJohansen fair enough, I wasn’t trying to shame him. More like he didn’t seem too enthusiastic about this new package (like the rest of us).
So many engineers on YouTube in the comments
Not any worse than the real ones.
Make the Cup cars more like Xfinity cars. No aero, less gears and more horsepower. Then the racing would be better on short tracks and road courses
They different for a reason. They arent about to make em exactly like Xfinity that would defeat the purpose of different series if it’s simply the same car. Better racing dont always equal better car
@@C4r0n1k I know that, but in this case NASCAR can do more than just change aero. They need to add horsepower and make these cars better at short track racing
@@JaredR1996 it’s been said that adding horsepower isnt that easy, we wont see that for a while especially if we have other OEM’S interested
Fun drinking game: Every time you see an “engineer” in the comments section that thinks they know what they’re talking about regarding this package, take a shot.
I’ve hurting after 4 shots can I stop now haha
They are making Toyota their number one priority
I hope this sucks and we are forced to try and at least test with more horses under the hood
Why was he talking to the ground ?
just bump the horsepower up to like 750-800, dont change anything else.
You don’t know anything of what you’re talking about
Guess we will learn soon enough if new package is hit or miss in phoenix this weekend.
since when is Phoenix considered a short-track?
Diffusers are for road race cars, not stock cars. Im not hear to watch imsa. If I was id just watch imsa. Add horsepower, loose the stupid diffuser, let em slide.
Nascar own IMSA tho.
so you’re taking away downforce…but adding it back?
