Bro I saw the dodger stadium thing yesterday and I’ve just been waiting for Eric to post about it
NASCAR racing in a baseball stadium.
Well…now I’ve heard everything.
Well, it’s either gonna be a foul event or they’ll hit it out of the park
Hey, if someone told you 5 years ago they’d be racing in a college football stadium, you’d have been pretty surprised as well. (I also don’t think this Dodgers thing is feasible, but I really can’t put anything past them after the Coliseum and Bristol Dirt)
Not necessarily nascar, but there have been stock car races in baseball stadiums before.
I don’t like this. It’s not environmentally friendly. What do they do with the asphalt afterwards?
@@EricAlexander-ry7ks Asphalt is the most recycled material in North America. It just gets ground up and used to make more asphalt. Almost all asphalt is made of old asphalt.
We’re proud of the success No.8 Pit Crew has found at Richard Childress Racing. We’re focused on winning a championship in 2024 and 2025, although timing of this could not be any worse.
Facts also your so inspirational dennydelivers
But he may retire in ’25 or ’26.
love the stand-up comedy microphone
We lost Auto Club just for Nascar to try racing in tiny sports stadiums.
Yeah, bring back historic tracks.
Bring back Fairgrounds or Greenville Pickens
Auto Club has had horrible attendance and the track is only be reconfigured. It’s not gone. Plus we all want more short tracks.
@MyDogFulton who is “we”? Speak for yourself, I want more Brickyards, Poconos, and Nashvilles! I love Martinsville, Bristol and Phoenix and short tracks in general, but Bristol has not been the same in a very long time. The best racing this car had put out is on mile and a half tracks and plate racing!
To be fair, I do not miss Auto Club.
2:48 The reason they can’t go back to the LA cosilum is because they have the reconstruct for the 2028 Olympic
I like the Mexico idea better than Dodger Stadium for the Clash. We already have a Tricky Triangle anyway.
I’d like to see them do both at some point in time. Mini Pocono sounds like it’d be way more fun than Micro Martinsville.
NASCAR at Laguna seca would be the race we all want
Laguna Seca is an AMAZING track!
I watched the Winston West race there back in the day and thought it was a great race, I would imagine this current Gen car would be amazing to see rip through the Corkscrew.
Hell Yeah
It would be awesome. But Laguna Seca isn’t in Southern California. If anything, it would serve the same purposes already served by Sonoma.
I’d go back to watch stock cars in Monterey any day!!
The Outside of Dodger Stadium would be better. Make a track around the outside the field.
That is what I was thinking!
NASCAR, please bring Cup and Truck series to Portland…
As an outsider, RCR looks to me like a terrible place to work at.
-Look at how they handled the Reddick debacle in 2022.
-Look at how they treated Creed last year.
-Look at how they’re already firing guys and we’re not even 1/8 into the season yet.
-Let’s also not forget about how often we hear Childress cussing out other drivers and his own pit crews on the radio.
Childress appears to be the most unprofessional and largely incompetent major motorsports team owner
are you sure about that? he won 6 titles with dale sr
if you define incompetent, say that to tony khan or mark davis
@@cykablyatman6242 And Dale Sr. Is long gone! Childress is, under all the PR glitz, a country boy. He didn’t come from a big business background like a Hendrick or Penske. Richard made the big time by putting a future legend behind the steering wheel. It all started to unravel after Sr. lost his life. Just the facts.
RCR is run with a “good ‘ol boy” mindset…might have worked back in 1990 but Richard is stuck in the past with business practices and culture.
@@cykablyatman6242that was also 3 decades ago.
It seems like we’re back in the 50’s for organizing races in stadiums, or anywhere.
While I think a race at Dodger Stadium would be cool, I would really enjoy see Nascar do a double header with Indy Car at Long Beach, The Indy Double header was a lot of fun and feel there would be a lot of appeal for fans to get more for that weekend. As a Nascar fan 1st, I would even enjoy Cup being the Saturday race isntead and let Indy Car be the headliner, its their track first. Would really enjoy seeing that scenario the most
A street race on the Long Beach Street course would be epic. Irwindale Speedway could be a 1-2 year stop gap as well.
Long Beach! Why not make it a shared event weekend with Indy car?
@@johnwinc81 That’ll be hard to do since Indycar already share the weekend with IMSA, Porsche Carrera Cup, Stadium Super Trucks and the Drift races as well
@jeffreyvences5746 they do, but all of those series together can’t bring the money, sponsors and fans that NASCAR can bring.
If I was running the city of Long Beach, i would figure out how to keep that course live for 2 consecutive weekends and get them all in somehow.
Irwindale has been sold for real estate development and is likely being torn down in the next year or two.
Great video and channel. Keep up the great work. I wish they would have the clash at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina. I know it’s cold that time of year in NC but it would be a great race I think at a historic track
Per Dave Moody yesterday the Fontana project is on indefinite hold. Bummer for those of us who loved Fontana and never missed a race there.
Got my Toxic Waste scheme Diecast today after 6 months!!! awesome car and the wait makes it that much better! Thanks for all the hard work Eric..
Thanks for letting me get a screenshot with you at phoenix, appreciate it!
Have a NASCAR Cup Series Race at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.
