Them pacing themselves, and not racing as hard as they can! And the Goodyears they brought, that was a great tire. Was continplating on going this morning. Glad I just stayed home.

bristol today really had more lead changes in its first fifth of the race than f1 will see in an entire century

Where was F1 racing this weekend?

Since you clowns feel the need to bring it up under every motorsports highlight video, that isn’t F1…

I don’t understand what has happened to NASCAR. It has lost a lot of its fanbase over the last ten years.

NASCAR is nothing compared to the 70’s and 80’s.

@CVetteMan1111 March 18, 2024 at 12:45 am

This truly saddens me. But it’s probably partly related to the state of the economy. People would rather have money to eat and sit on the sofa with family than drive to a race that could get rained out and blow gas and other monies. It sucks. I know there is nothing like the roar of a massive crowd with electric energy.

Looked like an interesting race, but man where are the fans??? As someone who has and probably never get the opportunity to attend a nascar race at Bristol it’s so sad. People will be whining when it disappears off the schedule.

Reply
@MetalManiac1911 March 18, 2024 at 12:35 am

I live 20 minutes from the track. Growing up, you were lucky to find a ticket. It was always sold out. They screwed up the track in 2007 and it’s never been the same. The fans quit coming.

Reply
@memolestas1017 March 18, 2024 at 2:55 am

10 years of rain delayed races ruined that, the night race is always sold out

Reply
@user-jf4nj3ez2k March 18, 2024 at 4:05 am

They changed the track back in like 2008.
Screwed Bristol up.
And basically lost all of the fans.

Only 5 cars on the lead lap. The 2 Hendrick cars could have been lapped if this race were about 20-30 laps longer sheesh

Reply
@dieno27 March 18, 2024 at 2:54 am

A nascar race where only 5 finish on the lead lap was more exciting than any F1 race so far

Reply
@travisbrueck9076 March 18, 2024 at 3:50 am

There seems to be a lot of tire problems with theses cars ever since they went to one lug nut and different rims it’s like every race so far has been some type of tire problem

@JJ-fy9hi March 18, 2024 at 11:36 am

I don’t think the decline in fans is necessarily related to the decline in interest from fans. I think we’re seeing the results of rampant inflation. Bristol is in the middle of nowhere and most have to drive several hours just to get there. People just can’t afford it. Gas, food, hotels, tickets, the costs are pretty high, with less expendable income a trip to Bristol isn’t exactly high on the priority list
