I think it was a great race. I remember numerous races in the late 90s & early 2000s when the corners had tons of marble build up. It was good to see drivers saving their stuff to make it til the end of the run. More of this, please!

It’s best thing that’s happened to the cup series in a long time.
I think every team should be able to use different tires, because there’s a lot of different types of tires out there that work great on other race cars and trucks and formula 1 and other racing series, Firestone tires are being used by high speed IndyCar cars and they don’t have to much trouble with the Firestone tires.
It doesn’t work that way the carcass of a F1 car is different to a NASCAR cup car due to the loads compounds could be close but the the tyre structure. It’s why you see only 1 tyre manufacturer the cost to develop tyres is in the 10’s of millions. Look at F1s first attempt at coming to the USA that was a disaster due to tyre loads.

This isnt nothing new Kevin is talking about…..tony Stewart been saying the samething for decades now ..he also been asking nascar to give these drivers an opinion to choose from beside Goodyear…. like hoover we need more tire options in the sport smokes been saying it for years nows…!
But, it’s difficult to adapt and change the set up of the car when they are given no practice.
In a sense this will even the setups to neutral . Making every team have a shot.
