When that happened, Marco must have wondered if they were racing at COTA or at Indy, given all the bizarre things that have happened to the Andretti family there over the decades, because this was more bizarre than anything that has ever happened to the Andrettis at Indianapolis (or anywhere else), including when Mario was taken out of the 1982 Indianapolis 500, a race he felt he had a real chance to win, before it even started.
