How would you grade your favorite driver’s 2024 season so far?

Kyle Busch’s rating is pretty fair. Yeah, he isn’t living up to expectations, but I think it’s a combination of his age catching up to him somewhat and RCR being pretty bad so far.

@xavierjuno4572 April 19, 2024 at 1:04 pm

No kidding, so far in the season they seem to be below Trackhouse who may I remind you didn’t even exist until 2021, let alone be contenders

@@xavierjuno4572 And Austin Dillon was below 30th in the standings at one point. He would be 30th if the Winston points format was still in place.

@Takingyoutojail April 19, 2024 at 2:28 am

@@connorbingel7134 I know Zane Smith was all hype. He should’ve spent at least a season in Xfinity, though I get why he moved up so fast seeing as Ford really doesn’t have any competitive teams outside of SHR in Xfinity

but not as good as people thought. He’s an average talent, nothing that amazing not special in my opinion. Hocevar is better for instance. @@nathanboetel5290

Eric Estepp A+. Denny shoutout on his podcast last week for saving short tracks. The interview with KP “Let Me Say This” “That’s Incredible”. Interviewed by Kenny Wallace (never thought I’d see that 1). Very good 1st quarter of the season.

Reply
@KTNUSA April 19, 2024 at 12:48 am

Like I told Eric Estepp on Twitter, I fear that Zane Smith will have a Noah Gragson like rookie season based off where he is finishing so far in this season. A failing grade is unsurprising to me.

Zane Smith got what he wanted when he is no longer in the Truck Series, yet he hasn’t been performing as what I expected out of a former Truck Series Champion.

Wood Brothers screwed the pooch by not bringing back Matty D. Harrison Burton clearly ain’t ready. Yes, I know Matt might not be able to bring in sponsorship, but he’s a hell of a driver.

@licorice5266 April 19, 2024 at 1:52 am

This is the 3rd or 4th video I’ve seen saying Larson has multiple wins. Not a big deal but he only has 1 so far. Byron with 3 and Hamlin with 2 are the only multi race winners so far

Reply
@stormix5755 April 19, 2024 at 4:19 am

It definitely feels like Larson has had multiple wins since he lead over 500 laps so far, more than his 2021 season at this point in the season, it seems like he’s always at the front

@melissakik5367 April 19, 2024 at 1:57 am

I am pretty impressed by Carson Hocevar. He was with an absolute steaming pile of garbage last year (Legacy) and with another “field filler” team and is doing a great job! He’s not wrecking as much anymore too…

Reply
@kyleberryhill7627 April 19, 2024 at 6:18 am

I feel bad for my driver Stenhouse man. Yeah he’s been running bad this year, but bad luck has also caught him. Pit crew penalties costed him decent finishes at COTA and phoenix and last weekend at Texas he was running inside the top 10 before the late caution pushed him back to 25th. But yes he’s been bad this year

Reply
@shadowlancerracing April 19, 2024 at 8:48 am

Both RFK ratings are fair, the thing that holds the team back from being even better IMO is qualifying results. Get that sorted and both Brad and Chris will get that win eventually.

The team is there, just need to find that extra something.

Reply
@GoodfellowRacing April 19, 2024 at 3:30 pm

I think you underated front row. Both B at least. The amount of times I’ve seen both drivers inside the top 10 (though not always finishing there) is unheard of

Reply
@TheCloudCreation April 19, 2024 at 3:42 pm

As a KB fan, I think you’re being reslly nice to him with this grading. I would give Kyle a D. He started the year off strong for the first 3 races, until his pit crew screwed him over in Vegas, but ever since then, he has dropped off the face of the map. Even last weeks top 10 was complete luck, he ran outside the top 20 almost all day.
