Corey Lajoie’s wallride and flip in the big one was definitely the biggest surprise this race, as another Cars moment is brought to life. I can’t wait to see him talk about it on his podcast
Kinda like Kasey Kahne at Bristol quite a few years back
@@jakearmas2057 that was 2010
@@JGR4LIFE Ahh thanks, I was thinking it was 08 or 09
That last lap crash was a certified NR2003 crash if I’ve ever seen one
How many times has Assholoski wrecked the leader on the last lap???????
Harmless Shenanigans?
@@FishNFoolLuresMcDowell wrecked him self..
Looked to me like in McDowell’s 2nd block he came down too fast and lost it.
bro my FOX tv watching experience was ruined today… all this nascar racing stuff kept interfering with my commercials smh…
It really did feel like that
There was like 8 commercial breaks in stage 1 alone
Fr. So many commercials
I turned the race off, after the first fuel run.I lost track of the commercials,5-6 commercial breaks in the first 48 laps or so…
cutting to commercial with 4 to go in stage 2 was crazy. they came back with 2 to go and we got to watch exactly 3 minutes of racing before they went to commercial as soon as the stage ended
UPDATE: Erik Jones has been transported to a local hospital after his crash at Talladega. He was initially checked at and released from the infield care center.
Seems like NASCAR has some work to do next off-season or hopefully the Olympic break.
bad look for nascar for clearing him
I really hope he’s ok
I hope that he is doing OK after that crash
Ngl but that last lap flip was extremely unexpected by everyone
Prayers up for Erik Jones
Dude low key, Tyler Riddick’s car looked beautiful. Legit thought it was sponsored by Mercedes for a second
Scheme was clean
I kept seeing the Mercedes logo on his suit when I was barely focused on the TV, a little misleading but good to get the audiences attention
Me too
i agree was funny funny
I showed footage of the win to my Swedish friend and he was like, “I didn’t know Mercedes raced in NASCAR.”
fox sold today fr. can’t believe the camera work and commentary was that bad today. the commercials were beyond belief
I got tired of the Fox broadcast that I listened to the last 30 laps on MRN Radio. It was more exciting.
Your right the broadcast is unwatchable. I wish there was a stat that showed how much time was spent on commercials and how much time was spent on the actual race.
This is how Tyler Reddick has to win races this season: by sheer goddamn accident i guess
Was it an accident that he was running in the front when someone else crashed?
His win was actually a pure GENIUS move. He knew what was about to happen, backed off, got the run & won in perfect fashion.
I’m not a Reddick fan by any means, but that wasn’t an accident, that was pure strategy that worked
its a speedway, this is unfair
With Reddick winning, it was really cool seeing Michael Jordan attend the race and see his car win… also really cool seeing Jordan carry Reddick’s son as well!
Always a good day when the sweat shop king shows up.
What’s the hype about Jordan ? Imao
Yeah that was cool.
I would’ve liked that storyline a bit better if they didn’t completely ignore the finish crash. That was a bad wreck, cars turning over and everything, and all they showed was Reddick’s car.
Somebody sponsor the #78 before Eric has to do it again himself!
Brad literally said in the pre race, something to the line of needing luck, you can do everything perfectly with no mistakes, and still not win, his own words spoke very true today.
This was my first cup race in person!! It was very exciting coming to each stage end and the last 30 laps. The fuel saving racing was cool to see them 3 wide for so long.
Congrats Tyler Reddick and 23XI
Epic to see MJ there for it too
A real shame for Trackhouse. Chastain and Suarez we’re cruising to a 7th and 8th finish. Once the wrecking started Chastain ALMOST thread the needle for a 4th place finish but ultimately both the 1 and the 99 got collected.
Two weeks in a row Chastain has crashed out of a good finish
Hmm I don’t think Ross crashed out, I think he was crashed out. Wrong place, wrong time.
Chastain was actually going to finish in about 4th it looks like if McDowell doesn’t wreck.
As someone who was at the race in person, it was really cool to be at. The fuel mileage racing didn’t seem to affect my view of it besides the fact that they looked slower and sounded like a lower RPM. I was rooting for McDowell after I got a picture with him this morning but happy for Reddick and MJ. My first visit to Dega was awesome!
That last attempted block was just ridiculous
If it was anyone other then McDowell id agree. Has he ever not wrecked people at the end of these? Didnt he win a 500 by doing this?
Agree 100%…DBC dumbass of the week or whatever it’s called HAS to be McDowell.
Ignorance at its finest
McDowell should join Newman in Xfinity… Newman blocks Blaney let’s Hamlin win Daytona 2020… This idiot blocks Keselowski let’s Reddick win Talladega. What an idiot!!!
Nah it was just a little too late. McDowell and Brad barely touched
And ironically that one involved Brad as well lol@@namelessfred6837
Even the commercials during Xfinity were crazy. Once I saw a Side-by-side-by-side making the race view so small it was like watching it on my phone so they could play two commercials at once.
Absolutely unacceptable.
