Ford has been struggling majorly in 2024. After 10 races of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season have concluded Ford has a goose egg in the wins column and outside of a select few they have not really been close to breaking through at any point against the Chevrolet and Toyota teams. When will Ford win in 2024?

Who do you think gets Ford their first win of 2024 and where would it be?
Richmond in the summer
That’s the first one I can think of
All aboard the Ryan Sieg Hype Train!
Blaney/Logano – Kansas
Michigan
Either Blaney in the Coke 600 or Logano at Gateway, those are the two places I see most likely wins coming from before Daytona.
This car is as bad as the 2018-19 Camaro
Cameros were at least able to win, these new Ford Mustang Dark Horses can’t win. Blaney is the only Ford driver in the top 10 in points.
Before Chase Elliott got a First Championship in 2020
@@robertlynn4435that was because they changed it to a 1LE
Which is funny because that Camaro won on debut in the 2018 500. It then took all the way until Watkins Glen for that car to win another race. And only got 4 wins all year with 2 drivers.
It was because of the front nose of the Camaro. They did get better with the 550 HP package in 2019 but were even better with the ZL1 1LE model because the nose was flatter. However I think some of the rules with the Gen 7 give the Camaro an aero advantage NASCAR didn’t think about. Remember, the manufacturers design the bodies for competition. That’s about the only thing the cars don’t share along with engines among manufacturers.
I remember Ford won only 3 cup races in 2009. And that’s when Roush was a threat every race. It’s probably going to be at that level again.
With going against 3 other manufacturers back then. If Ford walks away with only 3 wins in cup, it’ll look like a new low for a manufacturer
@SpeedStats Pontiac’s 1994 would like a word. Zero wins, 83 lead laps all season.
Hey I saw you in the JR live stream when it was dying
We saw this with the aero sensitive camaro and their young drivers in 18-19
It’s a matter of when not if Ford will win. They’ve brought strong cars to the track week after week. There’s no denying that. I look at Team Penske and RFK especially with Brad Keselowski. He’s been really close.
I think it’ll be at the Coke 600. Dover belongs to Chevy and Toyota has been very solid at Kansas. Also, Blaney’s win at Charlotte last year proves that Ford’s can go the distance.
Maybe until michigan since ford owns it
I feel for MCDOWELL SUPREMACY fans like you Jaret. But as DW said in 2009 when Carl Edwards tried to double block Keselowski and wrecked himself “You get one shot at it, but you don’t get 2”.
Nothing can shake MCDOWELL SUPREMACY. He shall be redeemed.
Michael Waltrip made the double block work in ’03.
@seannolan9857 that was nearly 4 generations of car ago. Any silly business in the current car, is likely to end up with you in the wall
It’s stunning that Ford is still winless in all top 3 series.
And ARCA, ARCA East, and ARCA West
The Mustang been fast every week, they just hadn’t had any luck this year
I love the dark horse body i think its perfect and i think its way better on aero than the gt500 but i think its the speed and even Kevin said the things that he noticed that was a problem so its something with the performance not the dark horse body
The New Ford this year is reminding me of how the Camero was in 2018,Its been a handful to start. Hope they can figure it out fast.
Ford’s struggles have looked eerily similar to Chevy’s 2018-19 Camaro with the 2018 season in particular. If they don’t win by the summer, I don’t see any Fords in the final four
I had Brad winning the race too.
Ford was pretty dominant here and Daytona. The issue wasn’t the car, they just had bad luck at the finish.
“Bad luck” aka Byron & Bowman/McDowell running out of talent
@@tloz171nfs seeing as two out of the three aren’t in Fords, I’d say that makes the Ford camp unlucky
@@MxDeNaglowskathats not being unlucky though. If they where unlucky they would’ve not wrecked.
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld you typed that and it made fucking sense to you, huh?
Tbh if McDowell didn’t block to much ford could have still have a won
I know Ford will win at some point. It just pisses me off that once again, Ford is a distant third compared to Chevy and Toyota.
Wow. Berry is 1 of 4 (full time) drivers yet to have made a top 10 finish: Berry, Haley, Grala, Smith
I honestly wouldn’t worry about Ford. I mean Penske won back to back championships just by being solid.
True. Wouldn’t be surprised if either Joey Logano or Ryan Blaney wins the championship this year.
Keslowski has been so close to winning these past two weeks, honestly heartbreaking he didn’t win this week
