Hope Erik isn’t rushing it back
And beyond surprised Ricky is staying
I was shocked to hear the news
What worries me with wanting to sit him is that yes he is cleared but there is something being kept out of limelight. Regardless glad to hear that it doesn’t seem too bad if he was able to come back within 3 weeks
It does my heart good to see Noah Gragson kicking some butt. While “Loser Motor Club” hasn’t done much of anything. It pains me to see Erik Jones driving for that Shitshow of a organization. The way they did Noah. Should make anyone involved with “Loser Motor Club” feel a little uneasy about their future employment.
I thought Noah resigned after nascar suspension
@@slackhammer4467 He did ask for his release
Loser Motor Club? That’s not clever, that’s something a child would say… grow up, little billy.
@@tomfucharyit may be immature, but he’s not wrong.
@@tomfuchary Poverty Motor Club is a bit more clever than Loser Motor Club
Congrats…Ricky Stenhouse Jr and JTG Daugherty Racing.
Congrats I see more spinning in their Future
Hope they switch to Toyota
At first I thought you were saying “Jody Scheckter” and I was thinking “What does an ex Formula 1 champion from South Africa have to do with a NASCAR team?”
Ricky Stenhouse definitely knows something that we don’t.

I’d say take this with a grain of salt. Stenhouse was supposedly safe with Roush until there was some work around after he had signed an extension. Plus, JTGs future is still uncertain, so we’ll see if this works out.
There is no uncertain future with JTG as Brad isn’t going anywhere or the other guy just the husband and wife co owners
@@johnhaas2523 they lost Kroger as a primary sponsor. Unless Sunny D picks up more dates or if they can’t secure another sponsor they will undoubtedly shut down.
I think that team is switching to Toyota even though those co-owners are going to Joe Gibbs. When you think about it it would kind of make sense because if they did that would be another Toyota partner which wouldn’t be ruled out of impossible..
If Kroger does leave i would pray for hope that target or safelife will sponsor them ( target i have my doubts)
I agree with Eric Jones and legacy motor nothing wrong being safer than sorry no need to rush risking agitating it good call its must win anyways
Yeah, just because you are medically cleared to race, it still doesn’t mean he’s ready to go. Erik may not be ready to run a full race just yet. But, it sounds like he’s looking good for next week.
NOS energy drink i think is one sponsor that Ricky Stenhouse Jr will continue to have going forward but as you said Eric i don’t think they’ll sponsor the entire season
It wasn’t too terribly long ago a previous driver of the 43 suffered a fractured back at Kansas. I think sitting him out is the better option
The Dudes Nickname is SpinHouse, Enough said!
When it comes to back injuries, I hear Bowman last year and Hamlin a decade ago. The big scary one that still lingers in my memory though is Almirola at this this weekends Kansas race back in 2017 with him being in a nasty wreck involving Logano and Danica after Logano blew a brake rotor that resulted in Almirola needing to get cut out of the car and airlifted to the Hospital where he was diagnosed with a compression fracture of his T5 vertebrae. He missed 7 races as a result and It ended up being his final year driving the RPM #43 before moving to the SHR #10 from 2018 till his final season last year.
If I was LMC, I would have Jones start the race and then have Heim enter after the first caution so he can earn the points.
Stenhouse when giving the right car always puts on a show and is a top 10/playoff contender.
Nashville, Kansas and any superspeedway always comes to mind. Hell he last Dover.
On the one hand, it makes sense for JTG to get Stenhouse resigned early because if they are sponsor hunting, it allows them to market the team with a driver who has won the biggest race in the series. It is a lot easier to find a sponsor when you have a driver who has been with the team and is willing to stay with the team.
On the other hand, Stenhouse is taking a big gamble that JTG or whatever the team will be called next year will find a sponsor because if they don’t, he could find himself on the outside looking in if the team shuts down due to a lack of sponsorship. The problem for Stenhouse is that looking at the possible open seats for next year (a majority of which will have drivers resigned), there is probably nowhere else in the garage area for Stenhouse to go, so staying was his best option unless he moved down to the Xfinity (or whatever it will be called next year) series and find a stable ride there and stay.
This is a very smart move by Legacy and Jones. He can legitimately compete for a win at darlington and giving him an extra week to make sure he is ready and/or to prevent re-injury if he were caught up in an accident ensures he is in top shape to go full attack at Darlington without any nagging discomfort to distract him.
