The 2015 NASCAR season is not looked upon favorably by the majority of the NASCAR fanbase, yet when we look back at it there are many moments that we can recall. One of these moments was the start of the Joey Logano/Matt Kenseth feud at the Kansas Speedway. Logano had been making enemies throughout much of his career and this was the start of where it came to a head. One move that he would make would turn out to be his downfall and ultimately cost him a true chance at his first NASCAR Cup Series championship. This is the race that sealed Joey Logano’s 2015 fate.

Joey had what was coming to him. He pissed off Kenseth one to many times and Matt snapped.
Harvick even admitted that had Logano not wrecked Kenseth he would have been champion in 2015.

What ended up happening ended up costing Logano the championship with the format that they had at the time and also the Winston format
2015 wasn’t a Good NASCAR Season.
It was the worst season of the 2010’s and what started the boring season’s trend. 2016 was miles better.
Logano had nothing to gain in this race, and in the end, Kenseth had nothing to lose. As the old saying goes “You mess with the bull, you get the horns.”

I think Emplemon said it best. Logano didn’t do what he did at Kansas in 2015 because it was a good move in his mind. Rather, it was because he knew he could get away with it. And he found out that by trying to have his cake and eat it too, he wound up with no cake at all, and Kenseth had nothing to lose at Martinsville.
If you listen to Loganos interviews on the situations, that is incorrect.

“When someone takes something from you, you take it back.”
Joey won the week before at Charlotte & was already locked into the next round.
Matt was in a points hole & needed to win the race. He needed to block to win.
Joey didn’t make a smart decision during this race & remained arrogant in the weeks that followed.
Karma came knocking at Martinsville.

Brainless France instigating the controversy defending Logano basically was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Kenseth had nothing to lose being already eliminated, so he pretty much said if i’m going down, you’re going down with me.
Kasnas is such a good track I brought a friend for our first race. I was there last year for the playoff race.
Bubba looked strong, and his teammate won.

Being at Martinsville for the fall race…one of the best I’ve ever been to. The roar from the crowd was great. Matt’s interview after the wreck was hilarious. Being a Jeff Gordon fan and seeing his last win in person…..priceless.
