The 2024 NASCAR Throwback weekend at the Darlington Raceway is the 10th year of NASCAR ‘s new(er) tradition. While the amazing Kansas race and finish May overshadowed it, the weekend is unique and stands on its own right with all of the top 3 series of NASCAR honoring the past, from the 1950s through to the 2010s just about every era and decade will be represented by at least one team. These are the top 12 NASCAR throwbacks of 2024.

What are your favorite 2024 NASCAR throwback schemes?
Larsons
SVG’s Ambrose throwback, Jack Woods Tim Flock Throwback, Ryan Ellis Cole trickle throwback, stewart frisen JJ throwback
William Byron’s throwback to Jeff Gordon and Brennan Poole’s throwback to Kyle Petty.
Either Riggs’s or Chastain’s or Custer’s
Kyle Larson’s 5
Daniel Suarez’s 99
Ross Chastain’s 1
Brad K’s 6
Corey LaJoie’s 7
Corey Heim’s Truck Series 11
The best is Kyle Larson, not even a contest
Fair enough.
Did you see where Michael McDowell is not returning to Front Row?
End of an era
Hard to say. 238 days left till 2025.
And he will take over the 71 Car for Spire Next Year
@@cctitansfan Nothing is set in stone.
@@bighand1530 Its already been made official
The HMS ones are the best
Exactly what I’m going to say in my video
Shoutout to Harrison Burton not throwing it back to his dad
The labonte scheme as soon as it was unveiled looked amazing
Bro no svg throwback that’s disrespectful
I absolutely love Keselowski’s throwback to the both historic and iconic JGTC Castrol TOM’S Supra. That car hits me right in the childhood as a lifelong Gran Turismo player to this day and brings back so many memories driving it. Not to mention it was very successful in real life as well, first winning Toyota their first GT500 title in JGTC during the 1997 season
Doesn’t seem like too many teams in all 3 series are even doing a throwback this year. The ones that are doing throwback are sadly underwhelming minus the HMS ones. Sadly I think Denny Hamlin might be right that throwback weekend has run it’s course.
No SVG? That’s a crime…
My top 12 Throwbacks;
1 Kyle Larson’s Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Terry Labonte Throwback
2 Cole Custer Johnny Sauter Yellow Transportation Throwback
3 William Bryon Jeff Gordon 2009 Throwback
4 SVG’S Marcos Ambrose Throwback
5 Chase Elliott’s Dale Jr 2014 Throwback
6 Layne Riggs’s RC Cola Throwback
7 Stewart Fresien”s 2010 Jimmie Johnson Throwback
8 Alex Bowman’s 2002-2005 Jimmie Johnson Throwback
9 Daniel Suarez’s Adrian Fernadez Throwback
10 Taylor Gray’s Mark Green Throwback
11 Austin Dillon’s Bass Pro Shops Dale Sr Throwback
12 Breenan Poole’s Kyle Petty Hot Wheels Throwback
Am I the only one who thinks that we are reaching the end of Throwback Weekend? We have started to seee MANNYYY schemes over again now and last year we had 2 drivers throwing it back to the same car.
I like the Labonte throwback, but it’s not my favorite. I liked the Tony the Tiger scheme from 2001-2004 better. My favorite might be bowman’s
I watched for numbers 12-2.
NO ONE had any question what #1 would be.
I’m buying the shirt either way, if he wins I’m buying the die cast.
I like the kyle larson terry labonte throwback and it was a miss opportunity to have a cartoonly kyle larson or terry labonte on the hood
My top 5 throwbacks favorites are:
5. Terry Labantae
4. Jimmie Johnson (Truck Series)
3. Jeff Gordon
2. Marcus Ambros
1. Dale Jr.
8:00 I couldn’t agree with your point more
Seeing Terry Labonte reaction of his throwback was a breath of fresh air to see. One car did not mention and I glad you didn’t the Dale Sr throwback Seeing Austin Dillon driving that car is distasteful. I remember Dale Sr had to work so hard to get not a just a cup driver but a race driver in general while Dillon never worked at all everything was given to him that doesn’t represent Dale Sr at all.
I already preordered the Labonte and Johnson throwbacks in 1/64. I dont think my wallet is safe until after this weekend.
