How about this stat: If you include the Duels, as of last Sunday, Mike Joy has been the lead commentator for 8 of the top 10 closest Cup Series finishes. The only exceptions were the 1993 Diehard 500, with Ken Squier, and the 2007 Pepsi 400, with Bill Weber.
I mean , he’s also been the only consistent commentator the last 20 plus years or so …..
So it’s that easy to get the gutter comment? Interesting, yeah that cup race was amazing come on now.
I wasn’t going to stand for negativity towards this race. If my comment is the one you are referencing
Completely stumped on heard, on the Weekly Driver Segment, I knew I hadn’t seen him race in awhile, but I knew he was from the same town I went to with my Sister and Brother in law when they took me to Nashville area and we stayed at a La Quinta, and I went to a Target, and since were talking throwback cars I found an Erik Jones Throwback to his former spotter,, I knew also that random driver Chad Chaffin was in the same race where he made his cup debut in 2004, when the Hendrick Plane Crash happened.
I do think IndyCar is coming to Fox next year. Oh Boy. And I think someone with ties to NASCAR on Fox may jump shift. But who?
The Stanley cup with the straw though eric??
The finish was great, and it was the closest finish. But the Craven vs. Busch finish was better because of how it played out rather then using the restart. But both great races.. to me those 2 races are some of the best this century, I rewatched the darlington race a year ago and was shocked how great it was
This season, Bristol and Kansas have really been the only races that I’ve truly loved this season, (I missed Atlanta). Besides that the rest of the races have been pretty meh.
I will start the Roval fan club
37:49 wow… Byron feels like he’s there… he’s been there weekly, this was his 1st real down week
yes. that’s why even with the most wins, he is not even top 5 in average finish this season
I find it hard to believe that Preece didn’t know about the meetings. Lol
Right!? They would have to intentionally work hard to keep that from him or his team!
Rfk will win in next 3 races I think this weekend with the 6 but there putting the Lego pieces together the best for ford
One more point proof that this sport view the data make ur pick n still don’t matter I’m a man of chess but nascar has to many things that can go wrong u can’t script a race
On your poll , are we asking if it’s a good race or good finish ?? Finish was spectacular but I can see where the rest of the race earned that 3% average rating ….
Finish was great but overall race , there’s more that’s been memorable..
NASCAR, please don’t listen to these guys. The Roval is one of my favorite races of the year. I don’t understand the hate.
I’d say 2001 Jr at Daytona, 2001 Harvick at Atlanta are probably my greatest races ever. Though, Larson being my driver now helps with Kansas last week lol
Race easter weekend and take off mother’s day weekend
YES!! NWP- The People’s Race Hub!! lol
If I am TrachHouse I am putting Connor Zilisch in the third car.
