Not surprised. Punches to the face can lead to other injuries when a person doesn’t know it’s coming. Thought it would be more.
What about intentionally hooking Stenhouse into the wall? Why not apply the same logic? If Nascar won’t do anything about that, they need to allow the boys to settle it in the pits
@yeotes423 last 2 seasons they suspended Wallace and Elliott for right hooking in to the wall, wonder why Kyle didn’t get it for what he did?
@larryplummer9154 For one he didn’t “right-hook” him. He hit Stenhouse in the left quarter panel, so he left hooked him.
If Dale Sr got punched every time he wrecked someone he would had become blind.

@@DrakionClawnope, if you are in a fight and your dad hits the guy you started it with, why is it the other guys fault for hitting back? Ricky Senior is not a driver in the cup series. He has no business touching a driver.
Since they punished him they won’t use the footage to promote anything right? They should be thinking him. It’s about the only thing interesting that happened.
They should give ricky a medal in my opinion

If this fight was so bad, why did NASCAR send out a video clip promoting it on the official NASCAR YouTube channel? Also, why didn’t NASCAR have officials at Kyle Busch’s trailer – everyone watching knew what was coming after the race, the reporters and camera people were all gathered there!! I don’t like to see fighting, yelling is fine, but not fighting. However, it was the most exciting part of the All-Star race, since as Bill France, Jr. would say, Joey Logano “stunk up the race” by dominating it. NASCAR behaves in such a bi-polar way, celebrating the 1979 Daytona 500 may-lay, then penalizing drivers who stand up for themselves. Next time you ask drivers to do tire testing, don’t send a Cup Series champion to perform 800 laps of FREE practice on a racetrack that is coming up on the schedule. How about send 3rd tier drivers (20th or worse in points) who need the extra practice?! Not impressed NASCAR, are you listening?!
It just seemed so forced. Ricky had calmed down but just had to cause a scene.
