Stewart-Haas Racing is one of the most interesting teams in all of NASCAR For every wrong reason. While having what seemed to be a promising young crop of drivers the team generally has underperformed and now its long term existence is up for question. Stewart-Haas is going off the rails?!

What do you think the future holds for SHR?
Bye bye in 2025
It’s too early to tell. One minute, I hear that their doing great and will keep 3 or 4 of their charters. The next minute, i hear that thier gonna sell most if not all of their charters. So right now, I am just gonna see what happens in the next month.
Gone, like my respect for the team.
I hate to say it but, they don’t have a future.
Pocalypse is now in 2025.
Tony Stewart in Shambles rn
Even more so if Larson beats his double duty attempt
As a former intern there I’m not surprised
Stewart is sick of NASCAR leadership so this is not surprising. He is going to cash in his chips and Haas will probably focus on F1
Haas never at the tracks anyways
Or Haas may decide to get out of racing entirely & sell the F1 team to whoever wants it especially since it has been absolutely terrible ever since it entered F1, though most of that has do with Haas refusing to invest in it. There would be plenty of buyers if this were to happen because buying the team would allow new owners a pathway to enter F1 without dealing the politics of starting a new team from scratch & the entry requirements like what Andretti had to deal with. Speaking of Andretti, I think he would jump at the chance to buy Haas F1 if presented with it & we would finally get a competitive American team in F1 for the first time in decades dating back to the days when Dan Gurney was in F1.
I don’t blame Tony, tbh
He was anti-NASCAR the moment Toyota entered competition, so both blame and not blame land on him
@@chrisguardiano6143 I agree with you that this seems to be the most likely scenario. Smoke cashes out, frees himself from having to deal with NASCAR leadership’s BS and can focus more of his time on his family & the NHRA while Gene uses SHR going under as an opportunity to get out of racing entirely by selling the assets of SHR & Haas F1 to interested buyers. Andretti of course would be the obvious candidate as they would have a lot to gain by buying Gene’s F1 operation & especially their grid spots, ensuring they will get on the grid in 2026 with no further trouble… but of course, with how hot F1 is right now, an F1 team going up for sale would be something that would draw a lot of interest. The other interesting question would be whether Gene tries to throw in SHR as a package deal with Haas F1 or if he tries to sell the two separately and what that would do to potential interest.
The charter market is about to crash like 2008
Maybe that’ll force NASCAR to redo the system. Jr, Hamlin, and Gordon have complained about charters for quite some time now
SHR as a team are clinging for life despite Chase Briscoe being 6 points within the playoff bubble and Noah Gragson 83 points outside the bubble. With the new charter agreement potentially depressing the value of the charters, we’ll wait and see and see where their drivers end up.
Basically, like the Prop 22 case in Cali rn: not good
Can we say that Kevin Harvick was absolutely the most underrrated river maybe ever? Guy has the unenviable task of replacing Dale Earnhardt immediately after he dies and has no struggles in the slightest, capping his time with Childress by winning Daytona in 2007. Then he leaves for Stewart-Hass and wins the Cup in 2014. Mighty have won even more at the Cup level had he not devoted so much time to running two series at once and running his own race teams at the same time.
Definitely not underrated. I’ve seen lots of people say he’s Hall of Fame material.
@@crystaljon it’s not the hardest HOF to grace.
If you have at least 1 Cup championship and have Even 1 Daytona 500 your pretty much a HOFer.
K H is a Shoe-in
@@paulywoodtheprince
Yeah
Because anyone can win a championship and the Daytona
@@paulywoodtheprinceif that’s the case then how come guys like Harry Gant and Ricky Rudd haven’t gotten in yet hmmmmmm?
@@xavierjuno4572 Rudd just got voted in today along with Edwards.
To think that Stewart Haas Racing may cease to exist when GTA 6 & NASCAR 25 release is insane
I think back to when Tony Stewart in late 2022 called out NASCAR for their decision-making, including the penalty to the 41 after the Roval. That was quite foreshadowing
Tony just needs to sell his part of ownership as he really doesn’t care about NASCAR right now. His focus is on his family and NHRA.
Does he even have family? He’s so focused on NHRA these days, and spoiling his trophy racer wife silly as well
@@S.K.R.E.Inc.reason Smoke is running the wife car , is because they are trying to start a family.
Imagine if BJ Mcloud buys a charter back at a fraction of what he JUST sold it for.
I’m mean he would race just the same
To think for years,SHR was a force winning races and championships and they could cease to exist sooner than later.
Not only with Harvick either. Tony was a force until 2014 tragedy put out his fire. Kurt Busch did good in the 41 and even Newman was solid in the 39. Aric Almirola even had his high points. Only had one true lame duck who brought a lot of green.
Never in my life did I expect Stewart-Haas to be on shakier ground than Front Row Motorsports. I remember when they were a start-and-park team. My how times have changed.
losing the smithfield and busch sponsors probably broke the camels back
Compared to everything that’s happened since then, the sponsorship loss is just the tip of the iceberg.
Instead of leaving NASCAR entirely, Tony Stewart should be gearing up to take over NASCAR actually.
The France family isn’t giving up control of the series, they have their fingers in the entire pie.
Stewart haas racing is basically robert yetes racing once a big ford team now just cant be like their good days
Kevin Harvick actually had to retire because he broke his back from carrying this team so hard.
As a Harvick fan it’s sad to see how far this team has fallen. But if we are being honest from 2014-2020 it was Harvick, Rodney Childers, and the 4 team who were the true powerhouse not SHR as a whole.
