As a former intern for them
I’m heartbroken…
How was it there?
@@nicksbits it was great as an intern
But as a fan
Man it was sometimes sad to go in everyday
First day of my internship was the Briscoe penalty

Tony Stewart I think @@thatsenseijosh4035
Share your favorite Stewart-Haas memory down below.
Chase Briscoe’s emotional Darlington win over Kyle Busch will always stand out to me.
Gotta be the dual burnout. Badass moment
Tony Stewart getting the first win for SHR By turning KFB at Daytona in July 2009
I remember that
Kurt Busch winning the 500,
Aric Almirola winning Talladega,
Kevin Harvick winning the Championship in 2014,
And of course Tony Stewart beating Denny Hamlin in 2016. I will miss SHR
Harvick winning the 2014 Southern 500
What a shame, feel for everyone that just lost a job and wish them all success in the future
Yeah. My guess is over 400 employees….When MWR shut down that company let go some 220 employees who worked on 3 cars. SHE has 4 Cup teams and 2 Xfinity teams
We lost auto club, chip ganassi racing and now stewart haas racing, the big 2010 nostalgic are now gone from existed
Chicagoland as well
@SierraFrost69 ehh it’s coming back soon.
The entire sport is dying rapidly.
Now gone from existed?? Learn English please…… that would be existence.
I am giving up on NASCAR goodbye and good riddance
Crazy how fast SHR became a top team, dominating races, championship threats, to an after thought. RIP SHR
The candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long
Dominated because of Hendrick Motorsport equipment. Once that was fine they were average
@@BkBk-gy6vrExactly. They should have never gone to Ford.
NASCAR is killing racing
Sure; throw shade on Ford.
RIP Stewart Haas Racing. Sad to see a competitive team and an icon leave the sport entirely. Silly season just got a lot more interesting.
He doesn’t have the time or patience to deal with all the changes in nascar anymore . He’s been involved in racing his whole life . I’m happy for him !
He never did.
Yup
In 2022, I thought there was no way, jgr would let busch leave, in 2024 I thought there was no way a top ford team would completely go away. Nascar never fails to surprise and shock me
I wonder if this is the beginning of the end for NASCAR?
@@Policearegood-mt6kxNo I don’t believe so. This is just one of those moments that you can’t really predict or believe it until it happens.
@@JP_Stoeffler all of the race teams, even Hendrick, say they lose money, which makes me wonder why they do it.
They love it. Stewart and Haas didn’t love it anymore.
@@JP_Stoeffler Question..Could a major sports league such as MLB, NHL or NBA afford to lose 4 franchises?
The fact a championship caliber organization can go from winning ten races to leaving the sport in just a few years is scary
Scary too that they couldn’t be sold/find a buyer.
When you do things wrong, the mistakes cost you A LOT, no matter how big you are.
If you don’t belive me just look how the New England Patriots and New York Giants gone from fight each other for the superbowl to fight each other for the 1st round pick in the draft.
Another example, look how the Fc Barcelona just have the best 10 years in their history between 2005-2015. And since 2016 its a slow and painfull downfall, from have the best attack trio with Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez to get blow up after blow up in Champions League, also getting elimimated in group stage, and also cannot even win the UEFA Europa League.
The Next Gen car was that scary development. The teams are finding that they can’t make any money because of how expensive the Next Gen car is to try to make competitive.
@@extragoogleaccount6061 did they try to sell the whole thing?
NASCAR is at fault
RIP
Rodney Childers about to become a big free agent as well
Hendrick maybe or Penske.
Or do you think he just calls it a career? I could see him just walking away into the sunset and anonymity to enjoy his spoils.
I honestly think he retires
If I was Hendrick motorsports you back the bank up to his house. And get Rodney Childers in house to crew chief the 48 car
@@SamCullen-wq6sx I honestly don’t think there’s a replaceable crew chief at Hendrick, I mean Rodney is probably better than what the 48 has now in Blake Harris (who isn’t a bad crew chief by the way) but man if you had Rodney Childers, Alan Gustafson, Cliff Daniels and Rudy Fugle on the same stuff the world might just end
Tony was tired of NASCAR, the sport is a shell of what it used to be. He decided to move on
Between NASCAR policies and Ford, I think Tony was just fed up with the sport. I can’t say that I blame him.
@@emsguy486 And all the ” random inspections” and heavy fines over small stuff that clearly provided no advantage.
I do not blame him one bit
He moved on ages ago. He’s been absent for years.
Oh come on, the sport is not a shell of what it used to be. If anything NASCAR is doing better than ever especially compared to the late 2000s and 2010s where they lost a massive chunk of fans.
The next gen car has enabled so many new teams to compete, the field is more competitive than ever, and mainstream interest in the sport is picking up for the first time since like 2006.
A great loss for NASCAR. Losing a legend is a very sad occasion. Thank you Tony for the great memories.
I think Ford not letting him sign Larson and some of the shade NASCAR threw at Stewart led to Tony pushing the eject button.
Either way, Larson wouldn’t perform as good as he did in Hendrick. And Stewart hasn’t been in a NASCAR race for a while now
This is my thoughts too. Like Junior Johnson, the politics of NASCAR drove them both out of the sport.
@@S.K.R.E.Inc. HUH?
Drag racing is more fun than NASCAR racing.
You knew it was going to happen when Stuart started driving Top Fuel full time and his wife started planning a family’
Why would you think Tony made this decision? It’s not his money, it’s Gene’s.
Mcdowell: I have the craziest silly season move
Stewart: Hold my 4 charters
Bro, i can’t believe this, Stewart-haas was my favorite team.
The super speedway race where Busch, Harvick, amirola and bowyer pulled away from the whole field was one of the best moment in the past years.
NASCAR has changed so much in the last 10-12years, it’s not fun to watch or participate in. Nothing but green/white/checkers and 3 races in 1. Now we’ve got fights after every race. Tony Stewart will be fine and I congratulate his decision. Can you imagine having to revamp everything every year.
Hats of Tony. I know you’ll continue in the path of 1 of the greatest.
LOL… Kevin Harvick said ‘we need more fights’….
@@patersonplankrdbecause he know the racing is crap and it’s about the only way the sport is going to survive.
@eldiablort1461 people ain’t talking about North Wilkesboro for the racing…they’re talking about Ricky Stenhouse punching Kyle Busch…
I’m having as much fun watching as I did 30 years ago.
Good for you. Be happy with all the “new” action series….
Haas got a taste of Formula 1, and the glamour that goes with it and doesn’t want to let go. Stewart got a taste of Leah, drag racing and doing something different. He too, doesn’t want to let go. The world changes, people change. It’s called Life.
Haas sucks in F1 they don’t have a proper shop like all the other teams,, they get every legal part they can from Ferrari and Dallara makes their chassis…
I wish Haas would sell to Andretti
Yup! Can’t blame them. I’m happy for Stewart, it sucks for the other employees but it’s not the first nor the last time this will happen
