This waiver stuff needs to stop and now
Shouldn’t take this long
The fact that it’s taking so long, and that NASCAR hasn’t really said anything, something is telling me that they’re considering not giving him one
Give yung money a waiver 😛
@@Farkle_8000 could involve legal troubles with other teams pressing the issues
This shouldn’t even be a debate. Larson was used in Marketing for both nascar and Indycar. He should get a playoff waiver because he’s one of the best and has soooo many fans
It really is marketing. So who cares if rain at Charlotte, he was at least there at the track and ready to swap with Alliger.
@@whoswiss exactly!
While I think he should get the waiver… “He should get a playoff waiver because he’s one of the best and has soooo many fans” isn’t a valid reason why. Larson knew full well that the requirement to start all races existed, he made his choice. However, NASCAR allowing him to run Indy in the first place is all Larson needs to make a case for getting a waiver.
His popularity is not the reason he should get a waiver
Not just that he already has two wins and he had every attention to run the coca cola 600 it was just the weather ruined him continuing what’s left in the coca cola 600
Carl was a good representative of what it is to race in NASCAR
I don’t blame Carl for leaving NASCAR. Especially with how NASCAR is with the previous management and current management
If Larson doesn’t get a waiver, I’m not watching the rest of the season
NASCAR is just milking this waiver thing for drama. Of course they will give Larson a waiver. He has many fans and is one of the best
NASCAR should request a waiver for false advertising “STOCK CARS”
National Association of SPEC Car Racing
@@frederickwstrawitchiii3329 NAStCAR ‘National Association of SPEC truck Car Racing”
Alan Bestwick, Dale Jr, and Carl Edwards calling 10 races in 2025 and beyond
That would be something. I doubt it would happen for many reasons, but would still be interesting and cool
I totally agree, it is a sad smile thinking of what could have been if Carl Edwards had stayed. I will always miss his backflips off the car!
Definitely share a similar view you do about Carl Edwards and how there is a generally sad vibe about him. I’d like to think that if he had won the championship in 2016 he wouldn’t have retired in the following off season. But just like most things pertaining to Carl Edwards it’s a big ‘what if’. I’m just glad I got a chance to watch his career when I did. Congrats to him.
Carl’s interview to me sounds like if he had won the 2016 championship, he would’ve run the 2017 season because of obligation, but probably would’ve regretted it afterwards and retired after 2017.
We all know Carl Edwards really retired because of THE PROPHECYYY
If Nascar denies Larson he should finish the year driving a Indy car.
lol that’ll never happen
I’d love to see Carl come back in a broadcasting position. He’s well spoken, knows the sport, loves the fans, he’s perfect for the role.
what i think will happen is Nascar will grant Larson a waiver, but give him a points penalty. yes he dropped to 3rd in the standings but he’s only -6 points to Hamlin. But Nascar is doing this for attention, they planned to promote the double all this week but since it didn’t happen they are doing this
Harry Gant should be in the hall of fame
I would LOVE to have Carl Edward’s in the broadcasting booth. ❤
Totally got your feeling. Great and somewhat sad.
Im gonna make a prediction, if NASCAR denies larson a waiver, then Hendrick is gonna take some sort of legal action or protest against it.
