Thank you for the highlights as i dont have cable. A non racing question, for as many years as i can remmber even when i had cable ive never seen Green Grass at this track ? are they in a extended drought in that area of Cal ?
Fairly certain it’s a seasonal thing, though don’t quote me on that. I’ve always kind of assumed that it just dries out like that in the summer time when they come here, but during other times of the year it’s green; I’ve seen quite a few photos of the track during winter months for example where the grass is really green.
@@NeosAvias Yeah it’s a seasonal thing. California has a particular type of climate where it is usually wetter during the winter months and drier in the summer months. More rain = Green grass.
That’s how that area looks in the summer. Look up pictures of the place in spring and its entirely green (though it is all weeds but still)

@@yancyjenkinssr1824 He’s the first driver to win 2 races in the Xfinity series this year. There’s more (boring) oval tracks than road courses mate, so that’s a pretty impressive achievement for a rookie who has shown more dominance on track than any other Xfinity driver has.
@@sunsetgarage755 Road courses can be boring too ya know, I believe last year William Byron pretty much ran the field at Watkins Glen without much happening, and also a perfect example being the Monaco GP, this year there were maybe 5 overtakes throughout the entire field

Austin Green is very impressive. I would like to see him on an oval. Maybe he can follow in Uncle Jeff and Papa David’s footsteps and become a champion in the Xfinity Series
Guys talk about SVG gonna be a champion. You cant win a championship if all you win is road courses. If he can score a top 5 at a oval I may agree but at this point he is a back marker at ovals
