That is a car battery commercial, even when the car gives up on you our battery wont.
It would’ve been better had the sponsor for this race been Interstate Batteries.
Hell the starter company also to take that kind of abuse and still not fail.
Or for Popeye’s Spicy Chicken, hotter than the starter on Truex Jr’s stockcar.

Not these days with safety precautions. If they’re stopped on track they’re supposed to stay in the car until they’re checked by safety crew unless they’re in imminent danger from fire or smoke
Pushing a car that has stopped moving on the last lap I believe is/has been illegal for a while. If you’re interested in an oldschool example look up Harry Gant being helped by Rick Mast at Talladega. For a modern example: Check out the recent Gateway race where Bowman was helping Larson who was down on power.
Going on foot won’t count. I know it was a different scenario but Carl running on foot at Talladega in 2009 didn’t count and in 2013 in the Xfinity series when Landon Cassill crashed before the finish he even too the scoring device off the car and sprinted across the line the same way and did not count. Lol.
And the flag man is just there, waving the flag for two minutes.
The crowd cheered when he finally crossed the line lol.

The crowd was yelling “Go! Go! Go!”. It was awesome. Then everyone cheered when he crossed the line
Main grandstand were cheering for him to just make it.
“Go Go Go Go!!!”
