Kyle Busch made an interesting comment when asked about his contract status. Could we see Busch move on somewhere else once his RCR deal ends?

I’d say probably, Busch does want out, but is locked behind a contract
I get the feeling he never wanted in but had no other choice.
@@JBtheExplorerYou can’t tell me he couldn’t get a ride at SHR Because there’s no way in hell Gene would be that stupid to not sigh him if can get a deal and Gene did talk to Kyle
A contract means nothing
@@johnhaas2523 I’m using “no other choice” loosely. I’m sure he could have signed to any lower level team that had space for him. But Kyle wanted money. RCR probably gave him the best option, and between RCR and SHR it’s a toss up of which one would perform better with him behind the wheel. So I think Kyle took the best remaining option.
@@JBtheExplorerthat’s not why Kyle left JGR there was no sponsorship to keep him in the 18 every week and Gibbs was willing to pay out of pocket for him but Busch declined
I hope his days are Numbered at RCR. I appreciate everything RC did for him, but he doesn’t deserve this
Can he be happy in any car outside of Gibbs and Hendrick, though?
sad to see. i been a Kyle fan since his rookie year in the 5 car.
I don’t blame Kyle if he wants out of RCR, their Cup team is garbage and a has been team that hasn’t been truly competitive in a long time
Buddy outside Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt this team has never been a championship team
@@zh2motorsports867 if it weren’t for Earnhardt and Harvick, RCR would be a +C team, period.
I remember thinking Kyle Busch was going to bring that organization back to the top. But after how they treated Sheldon Creed and seeing their Cup program struggle with one of the best drivers ever, they need a full rebuild. The only real highlight is that their Xfinity Series program is solid. While they have not shown too much dominant speed outside of drafting tracks, they are at least relevant.
@@nascar4842 if Kyle can’t rebuild RCR, that goes to show how crap RCR’s Cup program is
loss of a legend caused up and down years for Childress
I feel like he just has a hard time adjusting and maybe next year he can change things.
There’s as much chance of KFB returning to JGR as Mars Chocolate returning to NASCAR
“I suck just as bad as you!”
-Kyle Busch to Ricky Stenhouse Jr 2024
Lol
I don’t blame Busch for being frustrated and potentially wanting out, RCR is a team that’s a thing of the past. Haven’t felt truly competitive in years.
Maybe not Championship level, but they absolutely seemed to have turned a corner in 2022. 7 wins the last two seasons between Reddick, Busch and Dillon.
Something happened last August or so that killed that team, and there’s no specific indication what it was.
@@RogerBates7RCR was a key part of the NextGen development. RCR was one of the teams with a notebook. It’s just all of the other teams have caught up.
@@RogerBates7I argue that the whole Martinsville fiasco in October ended up cursing the Cup side.
Definitely competitive Austin Dillon has more than one cup win which is very hard to do. Tyler Reddick had multiple wins and made a deep playoff run in an RC car. Kyle Busch got three wins last year in an RC car
@@coreyhess8721don’t forget, RCR also had a ton of partnered teams (Trackhouse, Kaulig, Petty GMS), and all of them performed better than what they currently are right now (or last year, as is the case with GMS)
Use this as an I miss the ‘Out of the crowd’ segments.
As a Chevy guy and a Kyle Busch fan I hate to say it but, let’s hope so.
remember that Austin Dillon was the one who brokered the meeting between Busch and Richard Childress. if Dillon steps away to join management elsewhere, all bets are off. RCR has two excellent prospects in Xfinity.
They felt exactly how Kyle wanted them to feel
The KB leaving RCR situation is absolutely manufactured by talking heads and nothing else
I don’t know any of the media talking about Kyle leaving It was fans I believe who started any of the rumors about Kyle back to Jgr
Sadly I think Childress doesn’t have his finger on the pulse anymore. I think he expected his grandkids to be the next big thing, didn’t happen.
Childress owns a winery (makes wine) and a ‘whinery’ (#8 and #21 race team)
They just need drivers…! Get rid of Austin, he has ridden the SILVER SPOON way too long…!
Going to RCR was a step backwards for Busch and I’m sure he realizes that now.
Kyle Busch to 23XI, Toyota group, winning cars, and Denny has spoken well of Kyle recently. So 23XI buys SHR charter, steals their 2nd RCR driver
Kyle is under contract for next year and nobody can even offer him a ride for next year Because he’s got a no contact clause. Don’t be f****** stupid and act like You don’t know who’s rumor to be driving the 3rd 22xl car. The rules of NASCAR 100% state that fans are required to 100% pay attention to The silly season rumors And no personal opinions allowed
@@BigBerhtI think that’s dennys vibe tho
i was hoping Kyle wouldve went to 23XI 2 years ago. Wouldve made sense for him to finish in a Toyota team. I think he realizes by now it was a mistake to go to RCR. When KB8 goes from sweeping Bristol to not even being on the lead lap, something is terribly wrong at RCR.
Sounds great to me!!
Racing at RCR is a nightmare and has been that way for decades
46 wins in the last 2 decades?! Not too shabby.
Busch went from wanting to race his son in his own truck team to selling his team off. He has the opposite problem of making decisions than Truex.
Kyle isn’t stupid. He had to know there was talk about him going to JGR before he talked to the media. That was a calculated response.
Kyle Busch going to Hendrick would be like when Mark Martin went to Hendrick
