At least you’re consistent, Marcus!
Brad’s Tesla story and friendship with TJ Majors explains why TJ also owns a Tesla!
Great interview, Kevin! Thanks!
Oh, and of course, the #5 car will definitely win this weekend!
Brad deserves so much credit for what he has done with RFK. He has earned a lot of respect from me seeing what he is capable of as a driver and a now owner
I agree with you 100 percent
Being from Iowa, the amount of nascar fans since I grew up in the 90’s is insane. They’ve waited on this and they’re willing to put on a greater show every single year. They will show up
I drove from Milwaukee and was extremely impressed with Iowa Speedway. Will be making the drive again next year unless Chicagoland returns to the schedule
What a great interview!
Didn’t like Brad “as a driver” for awhile but the last few years I’ve come to like everything that Brad is doing on and off track !
He took RoushFenway Racing and completely transformed it into a very competitive team again.
Wow, Thank you for this. Whole new respect for Brad Keslowski. 43:06
Maybe my favorite interview Kevin. Brad is a great resource in this sport, with an important story to tell.
I was looking forward to the Carl Edwards rivalry conversation but the interview was great antidote appreciate it going longer than 30 minutes. 45 minutes seems like a sweet spot to let the stories be told and get some more questions in
Between Dale Jr, Brad, Denny, Kevin….the list goes on. NASCAR is in good hands. These are brilliant minds and ambassadors for the sport.
Problem is that they’re on the spokespeople but they’re not running the show. If they were running the sport we’d be in a much much better situation
@@nolandavis9040 agreed, but they are the faces of the social media side at the very least.
We need them@@nolandavis9040
Around 2007, I was employed at the South Point truck team in Las Vegas, every year Brendan would host a open house fan appreciation event. The race shop was next to the speedway. We had the fab shop roped off and I remember Brad and his crew came by after a day of testing at the track. They were looking into the fab shop, I recognized Brad and escorted them into the shop. I remember his exact words, “ this is really nice, I sure wish we had a shop like this”. Fast forward to today and recognize how far he has advanced.
I could listen to Brad and Kevin discuss the sport and business of it all for hours. Two men who have done a little bit of everything, understand a lot of the facets of the industry, and have a great appreciation for everything and everyone it takes to make it work. Great stuff.
This is why he’s my favorite driver. As real as it gets in the cup series.
Watching BK shaking hands and smiling with Marcos Ambrose’s pit crew after that breathtaking last lap at the Glen in 2011 made me a believer and an admirer. And what he’s accomplished at RFK has been stunning. This is one class dude.
Never been Brad fan but this is the first in depth interview I’ve heard & am quite impressed.
I remember the first race at Kentucky Speedway we locals were excited as Iowa fans. It was great to see that energy. Life long NASCAR fan that has been disappointed to see the decline of the sport. Iowa was a refreshing positive change. Hopefully NASCAR doesn’t kill off the sport with current negotiations.
Kevin is really good at this. I really enjoyed this interview. The #6 has been my favorite my whole life. Always going to be a Ford guy.
Brad knows what we want and what NASCAR needs!
Brad turned two cup programs around into winning teams. Both Penske AND Roush. Impressive.
Brad does a in depth interview like this maybe once a year and every time I hang onto every word he says. I wish he’d do more but I know he’s a busy guy. Definitely a pillar of the sport in the current business format and one that could make the sport better in the future. I’d be proud to be on team RFK
I could listen to Kevin & Brad talk about racing all day.
