Haas stays in NASCAR! While Stewart-Haas Racing will not return in 2025 there will be a Haas team in both the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Jordan Bianchi broke the news that Gene Haas will have a single car Cup team and keep the Xfinity team as is while the rest of the details are TBA. So today we are going to look into it and see what options this team may have.

How do you think Haas will perform in 2025?
The definition of mid
Good
avg team finish 28.9
Back of the pack
About 25th
I’m happy because most of the employees I knew as an intern get to keep their jobs
Haas be like: just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in
Haas is going back to his 2003 to 08 days of being a back of the pack team
SHR is already in the back of the pack
@@SilverThunder710You’re not wrong lol
I think all that matters for Haas at the moment is staying as a highly competitive Xfinity team like they are rn. Then use that to build up their cup program
@@BraydenBunch58ya he is , HAAS couldn’t even get top 20s before Tony . And even now SHR is better than HAAS will be .
BRING BACK THE 0 CAR
I want that 00 again but I’ll take this happily as well
#0 Haas Automation Chevy/Ford driven by Cole Custer
THE NETZERO CAR!!
@@LessGo7921 I’m only biased to the numbers 00 and 0 cause I’ve raced those numbers personally. And 01 car would be good too but maybe Dale Jr. would do that if he hopefully makes the jump to cup.
Gene Haas’ NASCAR team only became good when Tony Stewart became co-owner. Before that happened, they sucked.
So I’m not sure how they would do in 2025 and moving forward. They could either be good or repeat history before 2009.
I’d like to be optimistic about the return of “Haas Racing”, but they were not good before 2009 and even the Haas F1 team is garbage. So, yeah.
Maybe the Xfinity team can be good, but who knows. As of this comment, I don’t feel too confident about the return of Gene’s NASCAR team.
EDIT: at least most of the employees are staying, so that’s a positive I’ll take 😉
It all for advertising his CnC equipment, just like his F1 team.
He needs to get a great driver to join with him,
@@kharnthebetrayer1575 yep. I’ve always knew Gene was all for business and Tony was more for racing.
After 2022, I just gave up on hoping for F1 Haas to do well
They are gonna be decent in Xfinity and maybe have a driver make the playoffs and in cup probably like a 20th-26th points finish.
Talk about Coming Full Circle
With Haas sticking around in NASCAR, I think Cole Custer will drive in Cup next year, he’s no longer the favorite to drive for Front Row. FRM will make a tough decision on who they’ll sign next year, most likely Noah Gragson and/or Josh Berry as Berry is also a favorite for Wood Bros/Penske to drive the 21.
From SHR to HFT??? This is something different
3:25 ain’t no way he just said that, keep this video away from Eric, or else.
I like the fit of Josh Berry + Rodney Childers for the single Haas car for 2025
Hell no , let them go to a team that will be able to win , HAAS before Tony was a Backmarker team, not much better that the start and parks .
I don’t think that’s a good idea given that’s gonna be a 1 car team. Maybe if you partner up with another 1 car team or get another charter. If you want to contend for wins and championships you need a teammate. Martin Truex is the only Driver recently who has been able to pull that off.
@@kharnthebetrayer1575 I understand the history, but I need to see at least one year of this team in the next gen era , putting all their effort into one charter before I agree. I also think that a driver like Josh Berry and someone as talented as Rodney Childers will elevate a semi-lackluster car if he is retained for next season.
@@charlesallen8368 I agree that winning with one car is hard, but I can see an alliance Between Haas and Front Row Motorsports. I also think winning the Championship in year one is unrealistic as well.
Same here!
Conspiracy theory: Haas intended to drive out Stewart with his dumb decisions to have sole ownership of the team. Now that that’s done, the future is very uncertain, especially seeing how Hamlin, Marks, Keslowski, and other teams are vying for that one open spot to take from Haas and boost their numbers
Not a far fetched statement i gotta admit
its not that unlikely really
They’ll be a backmarker for sure. They were before Tony, they sure as hell will be without him
When all the cars come from the same NASCAR parts? I don’t think so
I think staying at ford makes the most sense because ford really needs haas in Xfinity
Congrats to Cole Custer on getting a cup ride in 2025.
He didnt do so hot his last go around. Theres better drivers, but I guess its all about who your daddy is. It always has been

I think this just shows you how bad Tony wanted out of the sport how far it has really sunk
This makes me think Stewart was the main problem.
Tony Stewart is the one who was always flirting with leaving Nascar, and his attention was on projects outside of Nascar. Stewart Haas could have survived if they simply reduced down to 2 teams, and sold the other 2 charters. Running a 4 car team is extremely difficult, especially when one of the owners loses interest in managing things on a day to day basis.
Stewart only cares about #1. Himself, making money.
Tony went to different projects because he honestly probably didn’t think it wad worth his time look at the team since he left Harvick was the sole life line for that team and now he’s gone why would Stewart stick around
@@RC.41 Gene enters the chat. Both are bad and rather not put money into the team. Gene has a history doing this to his team in other series and only wants to reap the rewards.
@@SPARTAN-mb6gx Lol, If one employee leaving is enough to make you quit being an owner of a business, you aren’t much of a businessman after all.
It’s his responsibility to make sure his business is running well.
Hiring Josh Berry and Rodney Childers for his Cup team would be a good start.
Nope. It looks like Josh Berry is getting ready to leave the team and Rodney Chiders can say he will retire since he already has a championship.
This is my conspiracy thought: Andretri Autosport wants to get into F1. What if HAAS forms an alliance with Andrett in F1 and in exchamge, Andretti helps with funding of his NASCAR team. Then they switch to Chevy since Andretti wants to bring Cadillac into F1.
