NEW HAMPSHIRE POST RACE – Tornado Watch, Wet Racing, Busch Flounders!!!

In one of the most odd weather occurrences in recent memory there is a tornado watch in New Hampshire and an enhanced risk of severe weather. Does that stop the stars of the NASCAR Cup Series? Absolutely not! We will be here to cover it all in what could be an insane twist to this 2024 season.

@@Cheddar_9 but thats where the water collects? Raining conditions you don’t race as low as possible. Sure, on a hot dry day sure

NHMS is technically my home Nascar track most of the cup races there from when it opened up until about a few years ago it used to be very bland racing. But the last few years the races at NH have been very good lately. I was at NHMS today and as the clouds rolled in you could see the agression heating up between the drivers. Stage one was pretty calm but stage 2 you could see they wanted to jockey to the front before the red flag just in case it got called

Thoughts on the drivers crossing the pit road entrance line not being black flagged during the green with the wet weather tires? Was that rule relaxed??

They’ve never done this before on short tracks. Can we at least let NASCAR/Goodyear collect some data for future reference before letting everyone else decide? Can we please give NASCAR some credit once in awhile. They have reasons for what they do. Just because you don’t know what it is doesn’t make them stupid. They’ve been in business 75 years, didn’t get from there to here by being dumb. It’s their game, they make the rules/decisions and they can and are flexible at times.

Glad they had a test with the wet weather tires and went 100% scheduled distance. Would have called it immediately after rain fell with Brian in charge. Bell 1st and Briscoe 2nd was hilarious. Poor IndyCar got pushed to CNBC and Peacock. No wonder why they went to FOX.

Terrible race. Chevy was nerfed by NASCAR.

I seem to be in the minority but i thoroughly enjoyed the race and was pleased with NASCAR doing what it took to get the entire race in because they could have thrown it in but kept at it and we got to see a really decent race and history as well. This year as a whole has been amazing

I thought Brad Keselowski did a similar spin to Carson Hocevar. Maybe that’s just what I saw from the camera inside the car though.
