Busch fan here. I’m still going to root for him when I can. But RWR is also fun to root for and somehow more consistent.
Busch to the end
Justin and Riley deserves some credit , so respect to your comment
Rwr?
Correct
I’m frustrated by the ongoing conversation about Ford’s “struggles” when, in reality, Chevrolet has faced even greater challenges. Aside from Hendrick Motorsports, consider the following: Trackhouse has generally been underwhelming, RCR has performed terribly, JTG’s performance has significantly declined this year, and Spire has been dismal apart from Hocevar. Kaulig Racing has consistently placed around 30th. Outside of Hendrick, Chevrolet’s performance has been dreadful.
Yeah they have been awful
Only one of those typically shows speed consistently, and only half the team at that. Spire and Kaulig are always a joke and RCR is always hit or miss.
I agree with everything except partially Spire. LaJoie hasn’t been dreadful, he’s part of that cluster of cars that interchangeably ends up 20th in points each week. Though Berry, McDowell and Gilliland have begun to separate themselves.
Zane Smith? Let’s not talk about him lol
@@Crush1084 as he spun out under caution lmao and wrecked a different time *Lajoie but yea hes been OK
@@bryanna-pw3zpjust keep in mind that he’s 29th in points when he was around 24th this time last year
Bianchi said on the Teardown he expects Loudon and Gateway in the playoffs next year. 3 flat tracks is way too many. Homestead expected in mid March.
WAAAAAAAAY too many. Hell, it’s too many flat ovals for the schedule in general. Let alone being 30% of the playoffs.
Bell dodging every bullet Nascar and Mother Nature threw at him and still winning the race that was absolutely legendary
From spoiling who his future teammate would be to spoiling the hopes of anyone else even entertaining the idea of holding a lobster that weekend, regardless of series
Bet he was relieved when the 12 wasn’t there anymore
@@HOWNDOG66He was faster
Am not usually a Bell fan, but he was clearly the class of the field (in all its herkie-jerkiness), excellent staying power as well.
Helps that he is the rain merchant
I really hope, SOON, we get a wet weather policy in place, where NASCAR is not making up the rules as we go. Most importantly I want the teams to be able to competitively pit for new wet tires when they want, or take the chance to slicks. NASCAR stock racing in my opinion sucks out so much strategy with stages, competition cautions, etc… and the wet weather tire has come along, but they need to spend the money to test properly, and lay down a rule book. Stock the car, not the racing.
I would love to see that too, but as the NBC booth mentioned on the broadcast, competitive pit stops under wet conditions on pit road literally puts a couple hundred lives at imminent risk. Yes, there is risk in dry conditions as well, but it goes up exponentially when pit road is wet.
That said, my biggest question was, since NASCAR knew the traffic on the track would aid in the drying process, once the big puddles of water were off, did they not bring the air titans down to dry off Pit Road? It would seem 1) that should be a higher priority since there would be less traffic there, and 2) with the comparatively small area to dry, it should be a process they could have accomplished under the several yellow laps they ran before throwing the green.
I totally agree with you. Cannot have a race plan when Nascar is telling teams what tires they can use and when to change tires.
Exactly! They ruined this race by running so many laps under caution and dictating the pit stops like they did. I was so stunned when they kept on with that micromanagement. Ruined the race.
This was one of the most entertaining races of the year IMO. It was boring up until the rain hit, then we saw some insane racing. Josh Berry passed 16 cars in a couple of laps. I really wish NASCAR allows teams to make strategy on wet tires because that would be so much fun. NHMS in the wet reminded me of Bristol earlier this year.
The Next Gen absolutely can race well on short ovals. You just need to change the tire/grip equation. Whenever there’s rain or Bristol tires the racing is legendary.
Great race after rain
I was bummed out on Justin Haley’s 29th finish.
Heart break
@InsaneCelery238 He was falling back because he was on the apron, which is probably the worst way to go around the track.
He was so close to a Top 10 or even Top 5 finish.
Elliot continues to be the only driver to finish top 20 in every race this season
Barely, his kerfuffle with Logano nearly ended that streak
@@Dominator37 I mean, finishing inside the top 20 every race is still impressive.
Let’s hope John Force is doing ok! Horrible wreck
RT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scary
I think he needs to call it a career at his age he can’t keep talking crashes like that.
34: Josh Berry
36: Noah Gragson
38: Todd Gilliland
That’s a good FRM line up.
Josh Berry in the 36, keep mcdowell

I think Trackhouse Purchases another Charter and throws SVG in there. They will let Zane Smith drive the Xfinity Car and be there to fill the 99 seat in 2026 if Suarez doesn’t pan out.
I am hoping Gragson goes to 23XI since Toyota has a strong alliance with Bass Pro, I really do not want to see Herbst in Cup! He may bring sponsorship, but I don’t feel he is worthy of a Cup ride.
As a lifelong Kyle Busch fan, Justin Haley’s move to RWR is looking smarter than Kyle’s move to RCR…
don’t say that
@@Basetugboat2675 I don’t want to say it, but it’s looking kind of true..,especially if things continue the way they are.
@@OldsmobileCutlass1969Va agreed. Best thing they could do is send Hill away, go down to one car in cup and open a third charter in Xfinity. Put Austin and Ty in Xfinity RCR equipment, and if they still can’t cut it, move them to management or PR. If they can cut it, then that’s great. I for one would be interested in watching the Dillon brothers battle it out for a NASCAR title. But it will never happen in cup.
@@NicholasBlakesleeThey won’t. Hill is RCR’s golden boy, and him being a menace on track is being enabled by Childress himself.
Larson’s spotter wasn’t wrong. Hamlin knows that he can push Larson around and he won’t get anything back.
Larson’s a champion driver. Hamlin isn’t, and neither is Kyle’s spotter.
Larson was right telling him to shut up though cause everyone knows radio traffic is monitored. They say the wrong thing they get fined & docked points
Yep… But, they’re both garbage drivers…!!!
This is why I call denny a hypocrite, if some one raced him that way he would be crying foul so hard. “No body races with any respect out thare” yeah denny and your the worst about it.
Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson were sitting across from each other, talking about how they respect each other, racing, and championships. This was a few years ago at the Chili Bowl. History being repeated. Who else remembers this?
The fact that Bell and Briscoe finished 1-2 is hilarious with everything that happened this weekend
A person could not write a funnier script!
One commercial break after the rain delay was the winning move of the race. Fox could never.
