Damn, I can’t believe I’ve been watching this channel for 9 or 10 years. Im still not tired of it. Many channels have come and gone in my life, but this one remains along with Neeme and Brad.
maybe not so much, he can make a lot of content of the damaged 812, more than the clean title and probably at the end it would make him more profit and he would be able to know that he was able to repair a very badly crash damaged car
@@semaJnorbeL23 My thoughts exactly, this saga and issue has easily created a followable series for the future. His headache is our viewership. (Not complaining, I love his channel.) But definitely not the worst thing for him given his line of work.
the strut towers, get a 3d scanner, scan the driver side one, make a cad model, mirror it, and have someone like dsport cnc you biller ones. Almost guarantee its cheaper than oem.
James, I worked in aerospace for a lot of years. We used a piece of equipment that a company called Direct Dimensions Inc both sells as well as offers services to produce an exact digital copy.
The digital copy can be turned into a CAD file to have a part produced from what everyone now calls “Billet” aluminum, steel or laser 3D printing.
Before I’d use a cast part, I’d get a part produced from a solid block of aluminum.
A good idea is to “borrow the piece” for further examination and buy/use a 3d scanner to scan the item. You can then use websites like PCBway or something else to 3d print or make from titanium.
If worst comes to worst, and you can’t register the car because of the structural damage, put the new kit on it and make it pure, no bs track car. Part out the seats and everything else that would add weight, get the money, get a rollbar and all other essentials. I do miss the 430 challenge, that car was something else.

Don’t read my name
Same, 9/10 years too! Such a long time and I’ve seen every single video, never gotten bored. Strad is always a priority
I love how he mentions Sophia in every single safety matter of the car
Bro you gotta cut your losses on that Ferrari. 34k for a part is like a middle finger from them to you.
Thats definitely way to much money just for 1 part
I will never own a Ferrari, they treat their customers like total crap.

@@SniderM-zn1cfthey definitely gauging those prices . Gotta find a donor car or parts car
At this point he probably really regrets selling the clean title 812…
Most definetly..
Actually, not at all. He will extract a ton of content for his channel and make it more engaging so that viewers will want to stay on.
@@semaJnorbeL23 which will probably generate more revenue than the Ferrari is worth anyways

Maranello classic parts has one for ÂŁ13,238.99 that’s 16,746.00
@thestradman
RF Front Frame Suspension Casting,
How disrespectful would it be to put the Ferrari drivetrain in the Lamborghini Gallardo?
madman.
@@philtrumble YES!! Sounds like a great idea

And billet would be stronger than the cast original

he needs to see this comment
100% milled out of a solid block would be 1-2k tops and stronger than cast
Strad needs to see the comment talking about this ^
How cool it would be if he put the 812 drive train in the black LM002…. Imagine.. just imagine
yes please!
Agreed
I mean I think its cool, but ferrari and lamborghini wouldnt. lol. Might lose his allocations hahah.
This or the donor lambo would be sick
Even better would be a ferrari v12 in the LM002
9:16 that was a Coachbuilt Corvette C1 by Kindig garage called KINDIG CF1, and the driver was the owner of the company Dave Kindig
got to see one up close this year at barrett jackson, build quality was out of this world
haha I thought he wasn’t going to recognize Dave for a second. That was a missed opportunity to have him on the channel. I love his show!
Kindig does some awesome work

Now that is a good idea. If he could find a strut to scan, then he could make it his own.
How do we make sure he sees this comment?
Was literally thinking for 34,500 you could probably find some to make a knock off
As litigious as Ferrari is, I’d be real careful with that.
If anything else doesn’t work, you can always put the Ferrari on the wall and the engine with transmission as a coffee table
Shell on the wall, Drivetrain in the LM002 🙂
Broo can’t believe you seen Dave casually cruisin so rad that car was insane too
Doing the 812 repair the right way is best way! Love hearing about the repair James. Best of luck.

I thought the exact same thing ….a machine shop would be able to make a much stronger one anyway isn’t it
Hear me out, take it to a Hispanic body shop and they’ll definitely figure something out
Stradling, get a dark cloth cover for your dashboard, that can be installed when you are driving the Aventador. Your retinas will thank me!
