This was the most chaotic race of the year, second to Bristol. After Atlanta, Kansas, and Gateway (sonoma too) I didn’t expect another wild final few laps/finish. 2024 has been one of those years
The only stage points that Zane Smith got was in Blue green Vacation Duels in February and it was 5 points you get Stage Points in the Qualifying Races for finishing in the top 10
He will be once nascar finds out the 22 car has a cheating fuel system ,that all teams have been doing this for 50 years, BUT IT’S NOT ok in this new car, if Nascar any balls they should find out why the 22 coukd run an extra 20 mikes on fuel over EVERYONE else out there Tonight!!!!
Out of all Kyle Busch’s recent DNF’s todays was the most devastating. KB drove the wheels off his Chevy from being in the 30s all day to a chance to win late in P4. Regardless of the restart controversy, KB didn’t deserve another bad run. It’s been an horrendous few weeks as a Busch fan.
@@jacksonsharpe114true honestly. But this year has been brutal. At least in 2021 and the first eighteen races of 23 he was decent. I just want KB to keep the streak alive so bad.
Absolutely. With every lap that went by that nobody spun out, my disappointment was sinking in further and further, and I knew that Denny Hamlin was going to pull away with it. Until 2 to go when Austin Cindric spun out, bringing out the caution, and somehow, Joey Logano wound up winning. I will take him winning over Denny Hamlin winning on any Sunday between February and November.

Don’t let this distract from the fact that we could’ve had a Corey Lajoie Zane Smith or a Ryan Preece win this race
Also Chase Elliott continued his top 20 streak while sliding sideways through the infield grass
@@Jutho3121I didn’t even notice that and as an Elliott fan that was a respectable finish could’ve been worse
Sooo sad that Logano got it. There was space for an incredible underdog
I was rooting for Lajoie. I still think a driver that won’t go deep into the playoffs won.
Yeah except Bowman didn’t give Lajoie a chance at the win

Zane Smith career stage points: 0
Zane Smith career P2 finishes: 1

Lol
Where did he come from?
Zane Smith who is outside the top 30 in points almost won tonight. Had that happened, it would have been a nuclear bomb on the playoffs standings.

@@Tow_Sr.they passed post race inspection so it doesn’t matter anymore lol
@@Tow_Sr.He just saved more fuel, I’m still in disbelief he saved that much tho
Larson did not misjudge that move, he was trying to ship Hamlin using FedEx.
@@mateojohns05 fact !!
Larson was simply trying to gain clean air, hit the apron and lost traction , sliding up into Ross…
Same thing I believe happen Noah last week.
I’m surprised we didn’t see more drivers this weekend touch the apron there like Larson did.
Looks like it got lost in transit
I don think I’ve been more devastated by a finish in a while as a KB fan
That’s saying something considering the season so far
Yeah, that was tough.
Lot of people will be pissed at Larson. Busch can’t seem to buy a piece of good luck right now.
I love it when cry Busch doesn’t finish a race he’s getting everything he deserves

It’s been a horrendous few years. Ever since 2019 it’s been tough being a KB fan

It’s crazy how I can hate KB one week and root for him the next. I would’ve loved to see him grab this one.
Corey heim deserves a hell of a shoutout! Genuinely running 10-12th in stage 3!
Also shoutout out to Haley who was slated for a 10th place finish before Cindric spun after everything they went through early in the race
Chad Finchum had the right idea. Run the first stage. Park the car. Go have a beer.
The return of start an park
I wonder if the chicken sandwiches at Nashville Superspeedway are good
@@UncannyEXP I always get myself some Hattie B’s whenever I’m in Nashville
Another big controversy was Carson Hocevar spinning Harrison Burton out under yellow – and NASCAR somehow did not penalize him.
I felt like in a way it was a penalty that should have been worth it.
Forgot to mention that. Could see a fine or something this week
Looked like he got pushed from behind, but need to see the replay again
Burton was checking up for the caution like everyone else but not hocevar. I’m already over this punk.
@@EricEsteppyou hate logano still? Got to get over it man go 22!
Never seen Eric this blunt in a race review, and I like it. Finally picking a side and being honest.
He hates logano. Race was actually very exciting imo.
I did not expect Eric to utter the word “grabass” lmao
it’s a front runner thing shhhhhh
I’d rather have a chaotic race like this instead of a boring one
Agreed, my disappointment swelled the deeper into the last 70 lap run and the more Denny pulled away.

Lost in all the chaos is that the Hamlin-Chastain battle was actually great while it lasted.
And the 1 was making up ground with the 11 saving fuel.
Would’ve made for a good finish, but noooooooooo. I hate overtime.
