For the fourth year in a row the Nashville Superspeedway hosts the NASCAR Cup Series and we are now two for four on rain messing with the fun. Toyota has been very fast but not fast enough to evade challengers yet.

Hi
Crime against Denny Hamlin
Funny way to spell Kyle Larson.
What the hell was that? It’s good show me finally one is in the playoffs. Is that the most overtimes ever
Heard there was a rule change going into 2023 about how they reset lineup after wrecks and what they considered “being in a wreck” after 2022 daytonas rain fisaco. Darlington and Chicago of last year I think were 2 examples. One if them allowed Chase Elliot to get like 20 spots back, I tthink it was Darlington
I felt like the Joker with how much I was cackling at all that chaos at the end. It got so damn goofy.
EDIT: The reason why we had so many overtimes comes down to the fact that Cindric wrecked WHILE the leaders were running the fuel-mileage gamble. Fairly certain that (almost) every overtime wreck was in part caused by somebody running out of gas and causing a stack-up. So… the whole idea of saying, “These guys are supposed to be the best,” implying that this was some kind of embarrassing skill issue? I don’t think that’s the case; it was just that a good portion of the field was playing chicken with gas.
As a pretty new viewer, I’ve been watching weekly for a year and a half now. I understand i’m not privy to drivers/team history, I understand that with the playoff system you get a driver that probably shouldn’t have won the race getting a golden ticket into the playoffs, all that but for “new fans” that was AWSOME my heart rate was at 140 towards the last overtime. Racing purists may not have liked it and it “Mudded” up the race but in my opinion that’s how you get new fans in seats. Not just the wrecking which i understand when a caution comes out for a wreck in the back of the field when let’s be honest the 11 broke away for the win gets called back for a restart i understand how that’s unfortunate I do but MANNNN that was so action packed.
i think that’s the wrong way to go about it. i’m for playoffs & overtime in nascar but the current format & procedures are downright terrible.
you can bring in new fans without making the sport looking like the fucking stereotype everyone in the mainstream thinks it is.
genuine question What do you consider the stereotype?@@nascarnational
@@TheKasasKid dumb rednecks driving in circles & crashing because of that
Yeah, what stereotypes? @TheKasasKid
I couldn’t agree more. don’t get me wrong, the end of the race was kind of ridiculous. But it was exciting, and I’d take one of these races over a dozen Martinsville-type races where absolutely nothing happens and there’s never a fight for the lead. Plus, NASCAR wasn’t really trigger-happy this time – people were legitimately crashing.
I was there for the race, and I’m a Wallace fan. in the first stage, He looked extremely fast through the field and made lots of passes. But seemed to slow up after that. But from the start of the race, I really thought he had a chance to run away with it.
Ofc Logano had to be one of the few to come out unscaved. I’ve never seen this Mickey Mouse of a top 5 in my life
If Kyle didn’t get moved up he would of had a decent finish
We are at the point that Larson just needs to send the 11 and the 1 to Dale Earnhardt and Fireball Roberts already.
Why dose the finishing order look like a Superspeedwat race??
Garbagio race.
Congrats Logano.
One of my top 5
I wasn’t planning on watching this race given how I’ve felt about NASCAR in recent weeks, that didn’t involve racing, and we pretty much had a double big one in the Music City and everyone said like in the cha-cha slide how low can you go? Yeah everyone did the racing version it and di the GEICO Commercial varient. 5 OTS my gosh. HEY NASCAR DID YOU LIKE THAT! I felt like yes 1 OT I get it, but 5! I mean did the closest NASCAR finish of all time did they have it? I have never seen that many in Cup. On the other hand I AM GLAD i DID WATCH AFTER ALL. and you know what I did after the race was over and my dinner I did watch the races from yesterday and Friday.
I agree with you like 90% of the time bro but I don’t agree that Fox was more willing this year to call NASCAR out than NBC has been. Mainly because anytime Clint dare say anything in the broadcasts calling out the sanctioning ‘family’ Mike Joy would be there in a heartbeat to say “but yea Clint isn’t it true…….” Or something similar and make Clint’s argument seem null and void. I actually love Mike Joy but he has always been an apologist for the ones in charge. And I know it wasn’t the NASCAR body but that public felatio Fox gave Hendrick at Martinsville? Have they ever celebrated a team’s anniversary in that manner EVER?!? I’ve never seen an entire broadcast get dedicated to any other team in the garage ever not once… And truth be told they probably shouldn’t be doing it period unless they are willing to do it for every team regardless of what team it is. Just pathetic. Understood this is all corporate mumbo but to the people who have never made millions or billions it just seems pitiful.
To any Chastain fans who are truly livid at Larson, I would just like to remind you the score is still now 2-1. I get being mad, but are we really also going to forget Dover and Darlington?
The atmosphere at the track made this race much better
NASCAR: sorry we shorted you at Charlotte, so here is some extra racing.
Joey always wins the first they say. Won the first Shitshow at Nashville
