No they shouldn’t limit it. You just had the record for the most ever and it was a whopping 5. If we were regularly going to 10/12 OT’s every week then yes let’s talk but 9 times out of 10 it’s 1 or 2 OT’s to finish a race. Limit them at road courses maybe since caution laps take forever.
There should be NO limit on overtime attempts to get a race winner. If it takes all night so be it…..

I prefer overtime to finishing under caution like some other series’s (INDYCAR)
NO OVERTIME. NASCAR isn’t a basketball game. Racers don’t play a game, they race. And they wonder why no one watches anymore…..
Knowing officiating though, like our Busch to 4th call, wouldn’t NASCAR be more probable to mess up the winner if we see side by side racing?

Overtime should be stop. It’s a matter of safety. God forbid if anyone gets hurt. Driver fatigue or cash to gain one position. It cost for owners amount of wreck cars is stupid. STOP OVERTIME

This a prime example on why nascar is losing fans. It’s every man for himself out their thats even if it’s a craw to the end. At 4 in the morning
TV ratings are up from last year in almost every single race. Even when they were down 5% they were still the 2nd most watched sports event of the weekend. So maybe you don’t know what you’re talking about
