Briscoe trying to be a hero and ends up taking himself and SVG out ridiculous road racing etiquette

Just pushing for the stage win like everyone else. Just didn’t account enough for the rain.

the rest of the field should be glad somebody took him out because he’s going to win that race they should race in the rain thought that’s what the rain tires were for

Well I think we can all agree it’s likely he would have won it he is a road course beast. Only way to beat him wreck him

Reply
@LotusEliseNZ July 8, 2024 at 1:20 am

Pretty much seems to be the way on a road course…. unless you punt him off, he’s gonna be taking the chequer

Reply
@YuriGoofov July 8, 2024 at 2:40 am

He wasn’t in contention last year at Indy or this year at Cota. What are we talking about? Yes, he’s really good at road courses, and there are cup drivers who will beat him on road courses without having to touch him.

@@YuriGoofovtell us you know nothing without saying you know nothing. SVG was in the top ten at Indy while driving a car with a busted throttle, and in COTA they gave him another shitbox they lost 1st gear and the dashboard failed causing him to speed. He had to go to the back of the field and still made it back to the top 20 either way no first gear. He would have beaten them all again today if he wasn’t taken out of the race by Briscoe.

@FeintMotion July 8, 2024 at 1:35 am

The #14 car sliding towards the bottom of frame hit the back of #16 car going through the corner. In the dry it wouldn’t have been a big deal, in the wet it sent the car sliding sideways with no time or space to recover.

@mikenowland2739 July 8, 2024 at 2:08 am

Would have been good to see the pit crew fix it in the weather break period or run a backup car if the rules would allow it and start off the back.just saying.
