So no fine?
50,000 fine he got
$50000, shoulda took points. That would hurt more
I think he’s in 17th place, 45 points back from 16th. Points definitely would have hurt
No, it wouldn’t. Anyone who wins a race is automatically locked into the playoffs. Unless, of course, more than 16 drivers win, which wouldn’t happen in 2024 because there’s not even 16 competitive cars every week. Kyle Busch is like 17 and he’s had a terrible season.
Shouldn’t have been anything. But hey, Elton Sawyer is bringing us just one more step closer to being FIA.
@@kyleraymer5581why? You don’t have imagination enough to see how that could go bad? Do you recall Carl Edwards getting close to taking Jr’s hand off after an Xfinity race?
@@scylentdeth3198 Wallace and Bowman have so much history with mistakes on both sides
That could of been a serious eye injury
Just like Dale Earnhardt Sr or Tony Stewart would have done
the difference is tony and dale could back it up with elite driving, not midfield driving in top equpiment
tony and dale had enough class not to do it during a cool down lap where people have nets done and belts loose/off.
@@LordBurger Sure, that’s extremely relevant. The better driver you are, the more dangerous you will be allowed to act, makes complete sense to me.
Truly, we should have allowed the likes of Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon or Richard Petty to just turn people into the wall under caution Kyle Busch-style, because their achievements can back that up. Or wait, no let’s allow Kyle Busch to do that outside Cup races, considering he’s won pretty much every Truck and Xfinity race in the 2010’s.
@@tk800k Watch footage of Smoke and Big E and I can tell you haven’t watched them at all.
@@mdp26 not saying its right, but they have more merit to do so. this is as simple of a “cope” as there is
He shouldn’t have been fined at all
L pfp lol
i cant imagine any bias in this comment
@@LordBurger20s
@@LordBurger was the 9 fined for doing the same thing to the 99?
@@BowmanFan4888 the irony
So many people on social bashing this. Old school you bump me, and I bump you tactics. Thats all. Im here for it.
1. it was during the cooldown lap
2. safety nets were down
3. because of the previous 2 bowmans hand was out the window
4. bowmans wreck was completely accidental, his wiper wasnt working and he was the only car on track without visibility at that point
5. he had about 2hrs including a rain delay to cool off and settle it like a man
6. he actively went for bowman well into the cooldown. not too different from suarez at coat which got penalized.
Should happen after the checker or during cautions.
During race not after caution light was on. Last driver that did it during caution was fined $75,000 and took 50 points away.
@@LordBurger Now do Martin Truex Jr’s temper tantrum after Richmond earlier this year…
@@TheLoneDerangernot the same tho. That was actually reasonable and he didn’t have all that time, it was heat of the moment. Not the same situation by far
Never relax
Throwing your toys outta the crib!
lol typical stuff by this “racer”
Softest penalty ever. This stuff has been going for decades in this sport and this is the tipping point?
