Let’s go. The bots are gone. I have to agree with him on this. I only see this happening if electric cars replace mondern cars

Maybe a ev series….like a 6 race championship like srx.

He’s spot on. There’s nothing like going to a race smelling the fuel burning, hearing and feeling the engines, and all the other sites and sounds. It’s what makes the races what they are.

I would have my interest peaked by some EV stock car style racing. Maybe something in the style of SRX or IROC. 6-7 races spread out as a companion event to cup or Xfinity. 2 road courses a super speedway a short track and a couple of intermediate tracks. Track choice could vary depending on how well the car races each style but have 1 of each track style represented. It might even be something that could extend the life of Nashville fairgrounds and other tracks where noise is an issue. I would accept an EV race to keep some of these tracks alive as long as the racing product was good.

Tech always advances, sure he might not be alive to see it but I think it will move to a hybrid then eventually full electric

There is barely any future in regular Nascar as it is now. Electric Nascar. Stop it!

Is it hard to be that wrong? Get over it. It’s the way the world is moving. You’re going have to figure out how to live with it. Don’t be dinosaurs. Work out how to make it work. Or Nascar will die. It’s just a matter of time.

If NASCAR goes electric, I’ll watch one race for interest, but if it’s like the formula E series and the driver jumps out of the car and gets into another one on the pit stops, then I’ll refuse to watch that slotcar racing.
